As the competition deadline draws closer, the deep history of the seaside floats to the surface, washing up a host of characters and stories from centuries gone by. It doesn’t take Holly long to realise there is far more at stake than just a prize for best beach hut.

Watch the comical yellow birds make their way down the River Ivel – you can make a bet and hopefully win a prize! There are some changes this year to streamline the duck purchasing ques, and to hopefully make your day significantly more enjoyable.

For many years, the Town Council has organised these concerts to spotlight brass and silver bands from various regions alongside jazz and popular bands. There’s something for everyone to enjoy at the historic bandstand nestled within Parson’s Close Recreation Ground.
