The Nature Reserve is open all year round, except 9th-10th May and 10th-11th October 2026.
📖 HISTORY
Nobody is certain of the exact date, but it is likely that a watermill has stood on the site of the current Stotfold Mill beside the River Ivel for over a thousand years and it is certainly one of the oldest recorded buildings in the town. The first written evidence is the mention of four mills in Stotfold in the Domesday book of 1086. One of those four was the currently-named Stotfold Mill.

This performance takes place in the hardstanding in front of The Arches. Don’t forget to bring your own chair and a picnic to enjoy at our outdoor theatre. We strive to be wheelchair accessible. We provide disabled parking next to our farm shop and in front of the steakhouse entrance. Accessible toilets are available in both the steakhouse and tea room. Additionally, we have gravel paths throughout our zoo and woodland walk to facilitate wheelchair access.
