🧸 Every Wednesday in term time. Stay and Play is a weekly group for parents/carers with young children. Located at Wilstead Evangelical Church.

💖 FREE!
It’s open to anyone and free to attend. Mums and other carers from Wilstead and the surrounding area come along for their children to play while they enjoy the company over a tea or coffee.

We offer a range of toys and activities, including:
⭐️Baby toys, mats and mobiles
⭐️Role-play resources, such as dressing-up clothes and kitchen
⭐️Ride-ons, slide and playhouse
⭐️Jigsaws, garage and vehicles
⭐️Painting and craft activities

We also run coffee mornings once or twice a term, and an annual summer picnic.

🎉 Full House Theatre and The Culture Trust present: The Wonder Houses at Wardown. A free museum adventure for curious children, launching this May 2026!

🤩 WHAT'S NEW?
This spring, a brand-new family-friendly adventure awaits at Wardown House, Museum & Gallery. Made in collaboration with Luton school children and Full House Theatre’s Home Education Network, The Wonder Houses are a new, permanent addition to the museum.

These amazing creations have been brought to life by six talented local artists; Anne-Marie Abate, Dionne Ible, Sarah Harrison, Tamara Nkrumah, Sophie Gresswell and Teakster, showcasing a diverse range of visually stunning artforms.

There are six creative and colourful houses for families to seek out to delve deeper into the wonderful world of Wardown’s treasured collection. These exciting new installations offer families a fun and accessible way to explore and interact with Wardown Museum’s exhibits.

🐶 DOG INFORMATION
They welcome small dogs inside the Museum buildings (except the Granary Tea Room) but they must be carried. All guide and assisted dogs are always welcome.

Larger dogs can be walked in the grounds but must be kept on leads. Of course, owners are expected to clear up after their dogs
