Whether you love sketching, painting, crochet, stitching or simply fancy a relaxed evening around other creative people, this friendly weekly club is a lovely way to unwind, make something and meet like-minded locals in Bedfordshire.

This is a free, welcoming creative meet-up where all kinds of makers are invited to join in. There’s no formal class and no pressure – just bring your own art equipment, find a space, grab a drink or some food from the bar if you’d like, and enjoy a sociable evening of making.

👶 Free Stay & Play For babies and Toddlers in Wilstead


Time: 13:30 - 15:15

🧸 Every Wednesday in term time. Stay and Play is a weekly group for parents/carers with young children. Located at Wilstead Evangelical Church.

💖 FREE!
It’s open to anyone and free to attend. Mums and other carers from Wilstead and the surrounding area come along for their children to play while they enjoy the company over a tea or coffee.

We offer a range of toys and activities, including:
⭐️Baby toys, mats and mobiles
⭐️Role-play resources, such as dressing-up clothes and kitchen
⭐️Ride-ons, slide and playhouse
⭐️Jigsaws, garage and vehicles
⭐️Painting and craft activities

We also run coffee mornings once or twice a term, and an annual summer picnic.

🎨 Art In The Garden - Stockwood Discovery Centre, Luton


Time: 11:30 - 15:00

🎨 Join the Culture Trust at Stockwood Discover Centre this this May half term 2026 for an arts workshop like no other!

▪️AGE:
Suitable for ages 5-10 years

🕦 SESSION TIMES:
11:30am and 2pm
(one hour session each session)

🌸 EVENT DETAILS
Your children are invited to step outside and explore the landscape within Stockwood Discovery Centre, discovering plants, flowers, soil and animals in nature.

Through guided activity, they will take inspiration from the world outside and create paintings using eco-friendly paints made from natural materials, as well as make sculptures from materials found in the grounds.

This workshop is perfect for curious and creative minds, and is a hands-on look into creativity through sustainability, celebrating the colours and textures found in the nature all around us.

🎟 TICKET COST: £6.00
£6 (inc. booking fee) parents must stay with child/ren during workshop. You can purchase tickets via the event link.

🎨 Why not come along & join us on Saturday 13th June 2026 for a fun-filled evening run by The Creative Canvas at Eyeworth Village Hall.

😍 EVENT DETAILS
You will create your masterpiece under the expert guidance of a local artist & will then be able to take this home to display in all its glory! All art supplies/materials will be provided & you will receive a complimentary glass of bubbles on arrival.

Soft drinks, hot drinks & nibbles will be on sale.

We will be holding a raffle & will have a fun game of ‘heads or tails’.

🐶 DOG INFORMATION
They welcome small dogs inside the Museum buildings (except the Granary Tea Room) but they must be carried. All guide and assisted dogs are always welcome.

Larger dogs can be walked in the grounds but must be kept on leads. Of course, owners are expected to clear up after their dogs
