Namaste Motherf*ckers is the new show from Cally Beaton (QI, Live at the Apollo) - a quick-witted, unexpected and unapologetic insight into life in midlife.
Combining Callyโs comedic and storytelling prowess with extracts from her provocative, stereotype-busting book of the same name, the show has at its heart her own story of radical reinvention โ taking her from meetings in boardrooms to treading the boards, thanks to a chance conversation with the late, great Joan Rivers.
A funny show about a deadly serious subject, Namaste Motherf*ckers is a celebration of and for the female of the species. Invisible no more.
The show has just celebrated an Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2025 sell-out, and it will include a Q&A and meet-and-greet with Cally (who knows, Jeff the wonder dog may even be there too).

๐ HISTORY OF THE FRENCH HORN
The French Horn in Steppingley is a historic village pub with deep roots in Bedfordshireโs countryside charm. Though its exact origins are unclear, it is recognized as a building of some antiquity, having been refaced with a modern front.Adjacent to the pub is a large old thatched barn, traditionally believed to be the former tithe barn, adding to the establishment's historical significance.
Local lore suggests that the pub may have been named in honor of John Schorne, a 13th-century rector of Steppingley renowned for his healing abilities and credited with imprisoning the devil in a bootโa tale that inspired the Jack-in-the-Box toy.
In more recent history, The French Horn gained attention when celebrity chef Jean-Christophe Novelli launched it as his second gastropub in 2008, offering both formal dining and a casual bar area.
Today, The French Horn continues to serve as a welcoming spot for both locals and visitors, blending its rich history with the comforts of a traditional English pub.

The Olde Watermill Shopping Village is set in and around an historic Watermill.
There has been a Watermill on the site since 1086 as the Watermill is mentioned in the Domesday book and it is one of the oldest overshot Watermills in the country.
Over the last few years, it has been lovingly restored and is now home to over 20 unique and individual shops as well as the Mill House Restaurant, Tea Room & Cafe, an antique centre, Millerโs Shopping Arcade and a soft play area for the children.
