The Katherine cross is a memorial to Katherine of Aragon, first wife of Henry VIII. It stands in the grounds of Ampthill Park, Bedfordshire, England, on the site of a since demolished castle, Ampthill Castle, in which Katherine was confined in 1533.

This is a "test run" for us to make sure all our systems are flowing perfectly before the main season kicks off. It’s the perfect chance for you to beat the heat and be the first to dive into the fun!

And that's not all; we're excited to welcome the III Rivers Harley Davidson Chapter, who will be visiting on the same day. Around 15 stunning motorcycles will be parked in our car park between 11:30am and 12:30pm. A fantastic sight for visitors and photography enthusiasts alike.

🚒 We’re delighted to welcome back the 17th St.Neots Fire Engine Pull, finishing at The Cambridgeshire Hunter car park in St.Neots, Cambs.

Come along for a brilliant community day out in support of an incredibly worthwhile cause. Expect a feel-good atmosphere, live music, fundraising fun and plenty of reasons to stay for the afternoon.

Whether you’re heading along to cheer everyone on, enjoy the entertainment or support the fundraising, this is a fantastic way to help Burn Camps continue their amazing work with young burns survivors.

💛 ABOUT BURN CAMPS CHARITY
Burn Camps Charity was established to fund and organise residential camps and day events for young burns survivors, regardless of the severity of burn, ethnic or religious background.

The charity is run entirely on a voluntary basis, with no government funding and no wages paid to members or volunteers. That means every penny donated goes directly towards organising and running these special camps and day events for children and young people.

Our childhood is short enough and every child should have the opportunity to enjoy these years.

⛪️ Free Entry - De Grey Mausoleum Opening Day, 2026 - Flitton


Time: 14:00 - 16:00

⛪️ The De Grey Mausoleum is attached to the mid-15th-century parish church of St John at Flitton, Bedfordshire. It was first built in the early 17th century, before being expanded in 1704. The mausoleum contains a remarkable collection of funerary monuments spanning three centuries.

🅿️ Parking: There is no car park at the church but there is limited on-street parking available on surrounding streets.

🚫 Facilities: There are no facilities at the church but there is a pub in the village and more options in either Flitwick or Ampthill.

ℹ️ WHAT ELSE YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Mausoleum has uneven surfaces this may not be suitable for wheelchairs. No dogs are allowed inside. Free entry, no booking required.
