🚗 Dunstable Classic Motor Rally 2026

Set in the beautiful grounds of Priory Gardens, this much-loved annual event is a real highlight of the local calendar, bringing together a wonderful display of heritage and vintage vehicles for visitors of all ages to enjoy. In 2022, the Guinness World Record was set for the most autogyros landing on an airfield in 8 hours as 71. This was achieved by The British Rotorcraft Association at Shuttleworth on 21 May 2022.

ℹ️ ABOUT THE MUSEUM
The Museum is a memorial dedicated to the personnel of the 306th Bomb Group who operated from Thurleigh during WW2, as part of the Eighth Air Force 40th Combat Wing, 1st Air Division.
The Museum is an original building formally used by the 306th BG as a Small Arms Ammunition store.
We use it today to display artefacts to re-create the activities and atmosphere of the airfield and surrounding areas during the war years, as well as honour all those that lost their lives.

⚙️ Stotfold Watermill Opening Day 2026 - Free Entry

🌳 THE NATURE RESERVE
The Nature Reserve is open all year round, except 9th-10th May and 10th-11th October 2026.
📖 HISTORY
Nobody is certain of the exact date, but it is likely that a watermill has stood on the site of the current Stotfold Mill beside the River Ivel for over a thousand years and it is certainly one of the oldest recorded buildings in the town. The first written evidence is the mention of four mills in Stotfold in the Domesday book of 1086. One of those four was the currently-named Stotfold Mill.
