🎠 Horton Steam Fair 2026 - Boxmoor Common, Hemel Hempstead

Join us on 12th - 14th and 19th - 21st June 2026 at Boxmoor Common to experience the magic of a traditional British funfair with stunning restored vintage rides and sidestalls dating from the 1900s to the 1960s.

We’re delighted to welcome the Prevention Team from Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue Service to this year’s show. They’ll be bringing their innovative Vision VR Road Safety Vehicle – a fully immersive experience using motion seats and VR headsets to highlight the real impact of road safety decisions.

On the day, you'll also be able to see the original 'Little Nellie' that was flown in the making of the famous Bond film You Only Live Twice, and the Aston Martin Owners Club will be bringing a great collection of classic and modern examples of the iconic vehicles.
In 2022, the Guinness World Record was set for the most autogyros landing on an airfield in 8 hours as 71. This was achieved by The British Rotorcraft Association at Shuttleworth on 21 May 2022.

Berkhamsted Castle is an English Heritage site which is free to visit. The winter opening times are 10am - 4pm and Summer opening times are 10am - 6pm. Dogs on leads are welcome.
