🎉 Wassailing is on Sunday 11th January 2026, 2-4pm at Astral Park Community Orchard in Billington Park at the end of Middleton Way across the Playing Fields from Astral Park.

🎶 WHAT IS THE WASSAILING CELEBRATION?
Wassailing is a mid-winter celebration with music, singing, food, mulled cider and a traditional Wassailing Ceremony.

🤩 WHAT TO EXPECT
Live music from the "Ouzel Valley Ranters" and refreshments at Community and Sports Centre. All welcome.  Come in colourful clothes, banish the winter blues and look forward to Spring.

Nearest bus stop is Roundel Drive which serves the Arriva X2/X3 and parking is at the Astral Park Community and Sports Centre.

ℹ️ ABOUT THE AREA
South Bedfordshire Friends of the Earth first planted native Bedfordshire apple and pear trees in 2011 with the support of Leighton Linslade Town Council and  the Greensand Trust. The area is managed as part of the county wildlife with Stanbridge Meadows so there is long grass and wildflowers for butterflies and hawthorn, blackthorn and bramble bushes amongst the apple trees for birds.
