🌳 Wellbeing Health Walk at Harrold Odell Country Park 2026
Time: 10:30 - 11:30
They start at 10:30am, meeting at the woodland entrance of the Dragonfly Café and last about an hour. Each walk is led by a trained leader.
The walks are usually within the Country Park, occasionally in Harrold village, with an annual bluebell walk in nearby woods (conditions permitting). Café and toilets available, parking free (but a donation is suggested – goes to the upkeep of the Park). There are no stiles but it may occasionally be slightly muddy.

Walking regularly can help reduce the risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, strokes and depression. Why not come and try it for yourself?

A Walk in the Park is a programme of easily accessible walks for all ages running monthly in Luton (every first Wednesday of the month).
A Walk in the Park provides an opportunity to:
- ✨️ Boost your health and well-being whilst taking a short walk around a natural space and practice some mindfulness in nature.
- ✨️ Explore green spaces in Luton.
- Meet like-minded people and make new friends.
- ✨️ Learn about the natural world and opportunity to share your own knowledge or experiences.
The aim of the programme is to encourage exploration of scenic parks and green spaces right on your doorstep, at the heart of Luton.
The walks will be led by staff of Wildlife Trust Bedfordshire and volunteers.
Please dress for the outdoors, including suitable footwear for soft paths.
♿️ ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION
The accessibility on Galley & Warden Hill can be limited for some due to the terrain and steep slopes.
Please get in touch if you have any mobility concerns or questions about the walk.
📍MEETING POINT
For this walk we will meet at Galley and Warden Hills Nature Reserve and explore this Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI).
We will meet at the car park at the top of Warden Hill Road and Links Ways for 2pm and return back to the car park for 3.30pm.
