Pups and humans alike will have the opportunity to visit the extended festive Food Village, which promises to deliver a bigger and cosier experience than last year, with even more seasonal favourites, warming drinks, and sweet treats from local traders.

Tree Tots offers a range of seasonal activities designed just for under-5s. You’ll get to join in all kinds of fun things that connect you and your little one with nature – from ‘cooking’ in mud kitchens, balancing on ropes and swinging in hammocks to playing with water, exploring the woods and collecting natural treasure.

For one magical night, our historic town transforms into a festive wonderland, where shops welcome you late into the evening and the streets are lined with stalls brimming with handcrafted gifts and delicious seasonal treats.
Streets will be shut from 6pm to 10pm with festivities starting from 6.30pm. Local shops will stay open late for you to peruse and there will be stalls throughout the town for local traders and community groups as well as funfair rides in Amwell End.
🎶 ENTERTAINMENT
This year, we’re turning up the festive cheer with a spectacular increase in entertainment! Alongside the now-traditional, rhythm-filled procession of the Samba Band, you’ll be captivated by High Street performances from dazzling Majorettes and a harmonious choir. And the magic continues indoors, with a programme of music and dramatic performances set within the beautiful and historic backdrops of St. Mary’s Church, Leaside Church, and the Drill Hall.

We will also have performances in Tudor Square, concluding with the staple of Dickensian Evening Carols performed by Ware Brass.

✨️ Meet Santa & Mrs Claus: If that’s not enough fun, Mrs Claus will invite you into their cozy sitting room to meet Santa himself for a festive story, a present for each child and individual time with him and the opportunity to take that personal photograph of all the family.
✨️ Take a ride: Outside Rudolph is waiting to say ‘Merry Christmas’ and see you all, and each child can enjoy a go on Santa’s fairground train ride after which all the family can enjoy some time in our glittering, illuminated Wonderland and climb aboard The Santa Express for more fun and photos.

NEW this year, we have Santa’s Magic Postbox outside in the Winter Wonderland, so don’t forget to remind the children to bring their letters and post them to make sure they reach the North Pole by Christmas Eve.
♿️ IS THE GROTTO WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY?
Yes, the grotto is wheelchair friendly and our elves are always happy to help. Unfortunately we don’t offer any concessions. Please be aware the parking is on gravel and the slope up to the shopping village can be quite steep.

🌲 It is that time of the year again when we are delighted to announce we will be arranging a Christmas Lunch again for the over 65's from within our community. This will be on Saturday 6th December 2025. More details will follow.
We would really like to do this event for FREE once again, as a token of festive goodwill !!
👥 WHO IS THIS CHRISTMAS LUNCH FOR?
For residents of Flitton, Greenfield & Wardhedges.
🙏 ARE YOU A BUSINESS WHO CAN HELP?
We are looking for financial support to be able to do this, therefore if there are any businesses within our community who would like to donate to this cause please do get in touch. That can be in terms of a donation of Money or Food or covering the cost of entertainment. It doesn't have to be a lot, but every little helps.
🧑🎄 WE ARE LOOKING FOR ELVES HELPERS
We will also be looking for many elves to help on the day, serving our guests, setting and clearing up. If this is something you would like to do then again please send us a message.
