🐶 ARE DOGS ALLOWED?
Yes. Please clean up any hair and other dog related 'mess' before you get back to the jetty. Be sure you keep your dog on a lead for the duration of your hire. Wildlife such as swans have priority and should not be distressed by dogs. Life jackets for dogs are not available.

A £10 deposit is required in addition on all tariffs. Dont be late back, damage or dirty the boat. Management reserve the right to decline boat hire without reason.

We believe that it is our responsibility to re-pay the community for all the support
we’ve enjoyed over 25 years. So we have always made it our responsibility
to help charities with a special offer. We don’t give money but help them to help
themselves by giving them a very special deal on the price of a pitch. We particularly like having the smaller charities with us. For instance every year a husband and wife raise money for a special school to have an outing and any money left over is used towards much-needed equipment. Entrance includes a fascinating tour of the walled garden and visitors are encouraged to break their visit with a picnic or a visit to the Woodyard Café. The garden is best enjoyed at a snail’s pace, entrance is for all day! Notice boards and displays are updated throughout the season allowing fascinating insight into the garden’s rich history.
♿️ ACCESSIBILITY
Every effort has been made to make the garden accessible to as many visitors as possible. With that in mind we have recently finished resurfacing the area around the sundial making it far easier for wheeled access. However, due to the age and rich history of the garden there are some areas that are not accessible by wheelchair. Please inform members of the Walled Garden Project at the entrance and every effort will be made to provide an alternative route, provide commentary on the area, or help with pushing if there are volunteers available. Disabled toilets are available within the conservatory.

Dogs on leads with well-behaved owners are most welcome at the Walled Garden.
🅿️ PARKING
Parking is in an immediately adjacent car park with clearing marked disabled parking bays. Pre-booking is not required. Please note the Walled Garden is not at the hotel entrance.
