Limited parking is available at the Cricket Club, the football club next door as well as the local lower school. We have a couple of blue badge parking spots, please contact us for availability and to reserve. At all times, please be considerate of our neighbours.

You can explore the trail at your own pace, enjoying the installations as quickly or slowly as you like. On average, the trail will take approximately 60-75 minutes.

This outdoor event features light installations placed at various points around our Grade II* listed gardens. We have taken every step to make as many areas as possible accessible to visitors. However, due to the scale and nature of the gardens and grounds, we cannot always guarantee full accessibility.

⭐️ ABOUT...
We're delighted to be working with an exciting new provider, Fusion Event Services, who create truly spectacular laser show displays. For the first time ever, there will be two laser shows during the evening:
🎵 6:15pm – A laser show set to music, particularly suited to younger children and those who prefer a quieter experience. There will be no fireworks during this show.
🎆 7:30pm – A second laser show, with some additional pyrotechnic effects.
The best bit? One ticket gives you guaranteed entry to both shows. Come for the first show, come for the second show, or make an evening of it and enjoy both!
Alongside the shows, we'll have:
🍔 New food vendors and even more food options.
🛍️ A bigger selection of stalls.
🎠 More rides and entertainment than ever before.

🎄 EVENT DETAILS
Families are invited to see special guests Chase & Marshall from PAW Patrol at intervals from 2pm to 5.30pm in Frasers Plus Luton, funded by Luton BID.
A full line-up of local talent will be taking the stage to provide the entertainment outside the town hall from 2pm, including Warriorz Street Dance, The Meerkats, Luton Youth Funk Band, Luton Youth Rock Band and the town’s up-and-coming country popstar, Olivia Lynn.
🎅 MEET SANTA (BOOKING NEEDED)
Over the course of the weekend, Luton Council are thrilled to bring the magical experience of meeting Santa Claus to the town centre with a grotto at Market Hill from Thursday 19 November to Sunday 22 November 2026. This experience will be by pre-booking only – find out more on the Step Forward Luton website.

The popular outdoor cinema will also be returning to Market Hill for a special Christmas edition, giving families the chance to watch their festive favourites in the open air for free on Saturday 21 November and Sunday 22 November 2026.

🥁 The Procession - 3pm
The much-loved procession will begin at 3pm; from Lydekker Park it will travel along the High Street up to Vaughan Road. The Pipes and Drums will lead the parade, closely followed by Santa and his elves. Joining them are entertainers, musicians, community groups and the cast of this year’s Harpenden Panto, Rapunzel. This year’s theme, ‘Harpenden Sparkles at Christmas’ means we can look forward to a procession filled with seasonal sparkle, festive creativity and plenty of Christmas magic!
🅿️ PARKING INFORMATION
Free parking for the event will be available at the Station car park starting at 12 noon; because of expected high attendance the Town Council encourages people to walk to the event where possible.
