This special event, sponsored by Beansprout Ltd, promises a brilliant day on the course with great food, friendly competition and fundraising for a wonderful local cause.
Starting from around 9am following golfers can enjoy a breakfast bap before teeing off for a 4-ball competition, with the top two scores counting.

Nestled in the valley between Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead along the A4251 (formerly A41-the Roman Akeman Steet), Bourne End is a village shaped by its ancient chalk stream, the Bulbourne, its people and its rich history. This heritage walk follows roads, footpaths, and the Grand Union Canal, revealing the stories, buildings and characters that have left their mark.
ℹ️ Accessibility details
The walk takes place across country lanes, tow paths and narrow foot paths. There is one up-hill stretch. Stout walking shoes are recommended and people should carry a bottle of water. This walk in not suitable for people with mobility issues or wheelchairs. Refreshments and toilets are available in the Anchor public house.

Set against the backdrop of the Victorian Shuttleworth House, this much-loved event brings the sights, sounds and atmosphere of country life at the turn of the 20th century back to life.
Organised by the Bedford Steam Engine Preservation Society and attracting more than 15,000 visitors each year, it’s a fantastic chance to see steam in its heyday across the stunning 400-acre estate.
