Spending time outdoors is also important for mental health. Being in nature can improve mood, reduce anxiety, and boost overall well-being. Fishing provides a chance to breathe fresh air, enjoy quiet moments, and feel a sense of achievement.
WHAT'S INCLUDED?
A fully qualified facilitator and level 2 angling coach with over 30 years of angling experience. They will also provide fishing tackle, bait, etc. Please note that a rod licence to fish will be provided.

Items from all sellers will be sorted into categories, giving a department store-style shopping experience, which is unique to the NCT. Buyers will find items conveniently organised by type or size, and there will be tills where they can pay for their shopping all together.

Entry is £2.00 per adult on the door. The venue is large and easily wheelchair and pushchair accessible. Please bring your own bags to put your purchases in after paying. We will provide shopping bags to be used around the sale. We do not permit shopping trolley bags in our sale, unless it forms part of a walking/sitting aid. Shopping trolley bags brought to sale will be tagged and waiting for you at checkout.

Seller spots always sell fast and usually sell out well ahead of the sale! New seller registration opens on Monday 25th August. Our seller fee is £8 per 100 items, and all sales are subject to a charitable commission (30%, which is reduced for those helping on the day). Our fees and commission go to supporting NCT activities and services in the local area.
How it works - For sellers, you price and label your items at home and then drop them off at the start of the day. Any unsold items are just collected after the sale. There's no need to worry about displaying or haggling, and no need to stay all day - our team of volunteers will do the rest. The Shefford Community Market (formerly Shefford Farmers’ Market) is on the 2nd Saturday of every month from 9am to 1pm, with up to 33 stalls running between Morrisons and the High Street, offering a diverse mix of food, crafts, sundries and handmade goods. We try not to have direct duplicates, giving all stallholders the best chance to sell their wares.

Attractions open for Halloween are Halloween Haunt Chapter 2, Astroslide, Treetop Walk, Rockin’ Tug, Clown Coaster, Meerkat Manor, Wicky’s Farmyard, Pig ‘N’ Putt, Roundabout, Cups and Saucers, Lighthouse, Carousel, Sway Rider, and Wicksteed Park Railway.

For one night only on 31st October, two special Zombie Trains will depart the railway station at 5.10pm and 5.30pm.
