We kindly ask that residents do not gather at Sainsbury's this year, as the car park is closed, and with over 100 tractors arriving it can be quite unsafe! Instead we suggest wrapping up warm, finding a good viewing spot along the route, and enjoying the run from there!

🚂 Take a 25-minute steam-train ride over a historic narrow-gauge railway that’s more than 100 years old, and run by enthusiastic volunteers. 🎩 Dickens of a Christmas is a Christmas market held in Olney each year on the first Sunday in December. 10am - 4pm. This year the Market will be held on Sunday 7th December 2025.

This year we’re spreading the festive cheer in the beautiful larger end garden of The Cowper and Newton Museum, plenty of space to watch the show, get involved, and enjoy the atmosphere. Even better? Garden entry is FREE to watch the performances. Plus you can cosy up with a warm drink from the museum courtyard while you enjoy the show!

We kindly ask that residents do not gather at Sainsbury's this year, as the car park is closed, and with over 100 tractors arriving it can be quite unsafe! Instead we suggest wrapping up warm, finding a good viewing spot along the route, and enjoying the run from there!
