Casting lines and building connections: ‘For Men To Talk and Fish’ in 2025 In 2025, ‘For Men To Talk’ will continue their popular ‘For Men To Talk and Fish’ meetings at Manor Farm Lakes in Lower Caldecote. These sessions are more than just fishing—they’re a lifeline...

🎣 The Mental Health Benefits of Fishing
Fishing is more than just a hobby. It helps men step away from their busy lives and relax. The slow, steady process of fishing—casting a line, waiting, and focusing on the water—can be very calming. It helps lower stress and gives men time to clear their minds.
Spending time outdoors is also important for mental health. Being in nature can improve mood, reduce anxiety, and boost overall well-being. Fishing provides a chance to breathe fresh air, enjoy quiet moments, and feel a sense of achievement.

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

🕺 Special Kinda Madness! - The Hat Factory Arts Centre, Luton

Time: 19:30 - 22:00

🕺 Special Kinda Madness return to The Hat Factory Arts Centre in Luton on Saturday 22nd November following their sell out show in 2024 with their classic take on Madness and The Specials.

▪️AGE:
Strictly 18+

ℹ️ ABOUT
Here's the lowdown; SPECIAL KINDA MADNESS perform a truly authentic set from each band, combining the phenomenally energetic stage presence of The Specials with the wonderful iconic tunes of the Madness ‘Nutty Boys’. Playing a set from each band and producing a show that will have the audience up and dancing from the off, Special Kinda Madness will have everyone hankering after that exciting era of 2-Tone and ska.

On 21st July 1979 at the Electric Ballroom in London, the Specials played a gig with Madness, Dexy’s Midnight Runners and Selecter. That’s a gig that all 2-Tone rude boys and rude girls would die to see, and thought would never happen. The Specials and Madness on the same bill!

We know it will never happen now … but you can get the next best thing with Special Kinda Madness!
2 Bands … 2-Tone … 1 Fantastic Night!

There is no support on the night as the band play 2 sets with the running order of Specials or Madness to be decided on the night. Doors open at 8pm with the band taking to the stage for their first set around 8.30pm.

If you are travelling from out of town the venue is 60 second walk from the railway station, if fact you can see it on the train!

🎟 TICKET COST: £16 plus 10% booking fee
