Hocus, Pocus, Boil and Bubble, join us for some spooky fun down on the farm this Halloween, it’s going to be spooktacular!
Step into the centre of Hocus Pocus; enjoy bird of prey flying displays, creepy critter encounters, tractor rides, have a go at flying an owl, pat a pet, meet and handle an owl and much more for the whole family to enjoy!
✨️ SCHEDULE
▪️10.30 – Meet and handle an owl
▪️11.00 – Pat a pet with the rabbits and guinea pigs
▪️11.30 – Flying display, see different species of birds in flight
▪️12.15 – Tractor rides (weather dependent)
▪️12.30 – Have a go at flying an owl
▪️13.30 – Creepy critter encounter
▪️14.30 – Flying display, see different species of birds in flight (this display is different to the 11.30 display)
▪️15.15 – Tractor rides (weather dependent)
▪️16.00 – Meet and greet with the farm animals
🎃 PUMPKIN PATCH
PLUS visit our pumpkin patch where each paying child will receive a FREE pumpkin to take home, additional pumpkins can be purchased at an extra cost.

All activities are included in the admission.
Take the kids to the outdoor playgrounds, have a go on the tyre run and for the little ones enjoy the ride on tractors.

✨️ Join us this Owl-oween for a spooktacular evening with our Owls at Herrings Green Farm in Wilstead.
🦉 WHAT TO EXPECT
The evening starts at 5.30pm with a bbq of burgers, sausages and mixed salads accompanied by a soft drink. This is then followed by meeting and handling some of our owls, come face to face with the beautiful Barn Owl, feel the weight of the Giant Eagle Owl, meet our little Scops Owl and more. This is the perfect opportunity to ask the falconers any questions you have and take some photos.
Head out into the main arena where you can have a go at flying an owl for yourself, experience their silent flight as they glide into your gloved hand.
🔦 THE OWL DISPLAY...
The evening will finish with our spectacular owl flying display by torchlight. See many different species of owls in action as we fly them over the tops of your heads.
🏆 FANCY DRESS COMPETITION & RAFFLE
There will be a fancy dress competition for the children, prizes for the best dressed girl and boy, and a raffle will be held where you can win yourself an owl experience.
We guarantee the evening will be a real hoot!

To help people who might find cost or other challenges a barrier to visiting Whipsnade Zoo, the Universal Credit tickets provide entry at a reduced price.
