The Olde Watermill Shopping Village is set in and around an historic Watermill.
There has been a Watermill on the site since 1086 as the Watermill is mentioned in the Domesday book and it is one of the oldest overshot Watermills in the country.
Over the last few years, it has been lovingly restored and is now home to over 20 unique and individual shops as well as the Mill House Restaurant, Tea Room & Cafe, an antique centre, Miller’s Shopping Arcade and a soft play area for the children.

As the competition deadline draws closer, the deep history of the seaside floats to the surface, washing up a host of characters and stories from centuries gone by. It doesn’t take Holly long to realise there is far more at stake than just a prize for best beach hut.

Now in its sixth year, this free event continues to be a highlight of Bedford Borough’s summer, offering a broad range of yoga and wellbeing sessions suitable for all ages and abilities, please see below.

In addition to the yoga and activities, there will be a Wellbeing Information Desk providing valuable resources and advice from local mental health services and charities.
