🎩 Dickens of a Christmas is a Christmas market held in Olney each year on the first Sunday in December. 10am - 4pm. This year the Market will be held on Sunday 7th December 2025.

Stall holders to dress in Victorian clothes.
There is also Christmas Tree Festival held in St Peter and St Paul open for all to visit free.
Also open this day is the Olney Centre and Carlton Club with indoor stalls organised separately. Stalls in market place, high street.

Our Frosty Fairies have arrived and they can’t wait to sprinkle some Christmas magic as they bring the classic “’Twas the Night Before Christmas” to life in a fun, family-friendly performance!
This year we’re spreading the festive cheer in the beautiful larger end garden of The Cowper and Newton Museum, plenty of space to watch the show, get involved, and enjoy the atmosphere. Even better? Garden entry is FREE to watch the performances. Plus you can cosy up with a warm drink from the museum courtyard while you enjoy the show!

🚍 SHUTTLE BUS TO THE MARKET FROM:

Dickens of a Christmas Shuttle Route will be starting at Stilebrook Road Industrial Estate from 9.45am. We will be following a Clockwise route, picking up and dropping off at the Market Square Bus Shelter. This will run throughout the day hopfully ever 15 minutes depending on traffic.

There is limited on road parking near the industrial estate.
