👀 EVENT DETAILS
Well, look no further! Biggleswade based historian, Natalie Doig, has handcrafted the first Biggleswade guided tour about the ghostly tales and midnight mysteries of the 'Wade. Biggleswade Arts and Theatre Society (BATS) invites you to listen to tales from characters of the past, who lived or worked in Biggleswade throughout history. Grave robbers, brewers, teachers, and more, all have tales to tell about the most haunted locations in the town, which may shock you to the core!
❓️WHAT TO KNOW
▪️Trigger Warning: death, murder, jump scares
▪️Not suitable for under 14's, or for the faint of heart!
▪️The route is around 1km of walking so please wear sensible footwear.
▪️Wrap up warm as it may be cold, rainy or windy.
▪️Only in extreme weather will this event be cancelled. No refunds.
▪️Please beware of cars and other pedestrians, especially when walking to and from each location.
MEETING POINT & SCHEDULE
📍Please arrive AT LEAST 20 minutes before the start time, as we will need to depart promptly and cannot wait for late arrivals.
🅿️ Park and meet at Trinity Methodist Church, Shortmead St, Biggleswade SG18 0AP
🚶♂️We will then walk through the town centre making around 8 stops along the way (around 1km of walking) and finish at the Library - 1 Chestnut Ave., Biggleswade, SG18 0LL.
🖐There will be arranged escort back to the Methodist church if you so require.
🚻 TOILETS
There are toilets available for use at Trinity Methodist Church before and after the tour.
♿️ WHEELCHAIR USERS
The walk IS wheelchair accessible as we are walking through the town centre.
