🎅 FREE SANTA'S GROTTO
With huge thanks to our friends at  TJ PLUMBING SHEFFORD  we are once again able to offer a fantastic Santa's Grotto with a FREE gift for every child that visits on Saturday 7th December, between 4pm and 7pm.

🚂 POLAR EXPRESS ➡️ SANTA'S GROTTO
This year to get to Santa's Grotto, you will need to take a magical trip on our very own Polar Express (a.k.a. Willow the Land Train). Find the station by "the triangle" on Grange Street.

🛬FLIGHT SIMULATOR
Plus, while you are waiting for your turn with Santa or return trip on the train you can visit our friends from @2482HenlowCadets and have a go on their Flight Simulator!

🧑‍🎄 So many things to do at this year's Light Up Clifton, it'll definitely be an unmissable event!!

🎄EVENT INFORMATION

Explore the grand rooms and grounds of Shuttleworth House and Garden Suite and meander around a variety of local food, craft and gift stalls.

Trade stalls will be positioned around the grand rooms of Shuttleworth House and the Garden Suite for visitors to enjoy both the stunning interiors as they shop from a variety of food, craft and gift stalls.

🏛 SHUTTLEWORTH HOUSE
Shuttleworth House was designed by the prominent Victorian architect Henry Clutton and is a real treasure trove of opulence, with many fantastic artefacts to see.

Please note that if you wish to visit the Collection or Swiss Garden, you must purchase a valid Daily Admission Ticket. You can do this via the event link

♿️ ACCESSIBILITY 
Please note that some of the areas are only accessible via steps.

🅿️ PARKING
Parking is separate from the main visitor attraction and will be located on the Parkland by Shuttleworth House. Please follow parking signage on the day.

🐶 DOGS
Dogs are sadly not permitted inside Shuttleworth House, Swiss Garden or Collection Hangars but are welcome outside for a walk around the parkland and house grounds. Assistance dogs welcome.

🍷 FOOD & DRINKS
We are excited to announce local caterers Boss Hogs will be providing their delicious Hog Roast and the Churro Boyz will be serving up their Multi award winning Churros!

Head to the Garden Suite where we will be bringing back our coffee & cake lounge now with festive treats!

Serving: hot drinks, mulled wine and much much more!

🎄A magical Christmas experience for the whole family at Wardown House, Museum and Gallery.

EVENT DETAILS
Children are invited to listen to:
📖 A festive story from Miss Christmas, 
🧝‍♂️ Meet the whimsical elves, 
🎁 Receive a special gift from under the tree when they meet Father Christmas. 
🍪 Plus, they can enjoy milk and cookies in our cosy café afterwards, while you enjoy a complimentary tea or coffee! 

📸 There will be an opportunity to take photos of your children with Father Christmas, and enjoy the festive backdrop of the beautifully decorated house, decked out in traditional Victorian style decor.

Running time: 30 minutes. Adult tickets includes tea & coffee. Please note there is a maximum of two adults per child for this event.

Festive munch bowls - these will be brought out to you throughout the event.
“pigs in blankets will be going out in force!

🤩 This event will be inside our beautifully decorated pub & some serious tunes will be played!

👋There are already bookings for the FREE Over 65's Christmas Lunch.

⭐️If you have a neighbour who isn't on social media and you feel would like to come, please do tell them about it.

⭐️We are also on the look out for sponsorship of the lunch as always.

⭐️This year EVEN MORE than any other year we need to make sure the parishioners of this age group get a FREE warm meal this Christmas. 

⭐️Finally, you have all been amazing in donating your time to be our special elves and serving the food at the Lunch in past years.

💖If you would like to do this again, or if you haven't done it in the past but would like to please get in touch. No experience necessary, just Christmas attire, a smile and Christmas spirit is all that is required.
