If you have access requirements and the day you have purchased for has adverse weather, then please contact us and we will amend your booking for a future date.
The food village will be accessible as well as wheelchair user friendly. Disabled parking is free and toilet facilities are available.

Full steam ahead to the Junction Shed to meet Mr P the Station Master. He has just received a delivery of Christmassy letters from Rudolph, one for every child, and your magical reindeer food ready for Christmas Eve. Mr P the Station Master will also help you make your own special wish upon a star.

On a winter day you may find the zoo area paths are muddy, with some gravel paths and grass, so it maybe hard to push a wheelchair in places. There is a wooden slat ramp to the Tropical house.

Free fair ground rides for young children. It’s also the Love Bedford - Have Fun weekend with free things to do like glittery face painting in the Howard Centre near TK Maxx, balloon art in the The Arcade,

🎅 SANTA'S GROTTO
There’s the Santa’s Grotto in the Harpur Centre, Putt Putt Noodle, and lots of other places to discover today.
🅿️ PARKING
Don’t forget it’s free to park in Lurke Street and Allhallows car parks for the first four hours, bus fares are just £2 and there are lots of places to lock your bike.

🐘We have FREE Elmer Christmas Crafts and storytelling on Saturday 14th December 2024 at Houghton Hall Park in Houghton Regis in the Visitor Centre.
DETAILS
🎄Arts & Crafts: 12pm, 1pm & 2pm
Get crafty with our volunteers making an Elmer the elephant from a milk bottle, a festive decoration for your tree and other Christmas crafts.
📚 Storytelling & Games:
12.30pm, 1.30pm & 2.30pm
Join Aaron from A Children's Story for Elmer's festive story and games.
This is a FREE event and booking is not required although spaces will be limited for the arts and crafts.

Elmer's Christmas FREE AR Trail is now out in the park and will be here until the new year.
How it works:
🐘 Visit 10 Elmer artworks from the Christmas classic along a short walk in the park, each one a gateway to a new augmented reality scene.
📱With your smartphone, scan QR codes to witness pages of the classic Christmas story come alive revealing Elmer's heart-warming, festive adventure in a whole new dimension.
🗺 The walk should take around 30 minutes, make sure you do it in the correct order on the map or the story won't make sense!

🔎🥚Join us at the Millennium Country Park this spring time for our Eggs-plore Easter trail. The cheeky bunnies are playing hide and seek, and they’ve taken the Easter Bunny’s eggs with them! Can your little ones find all the missing bunnies and eggs before the Easter Bunny notices?
