🎊 Every year in the UK, we proudly organise a traditional Turkish Festival to promote the rich cultural heritage of Türkiye, preserve our values, strengthen community bonds, and uplift the spirits of our people. Once again, we are excited to welcome you to this vibrant celebration!
Held in Stockwood Park in the city of Luton, this major event is organised by the Luton Turkish Education and Culture Centre with the generous support of our sponsors. The festival offers a colorful journey into Turkish culture for both local and international guests.

Hundreds of vintage and classic vehicles will be gleaming at Marsworth too, including some very impressive cars, tractors, commercials and military vehicles.
Stunning exhibits aside, there will also be an abundance of activities to keep all entertained and we’ve got more than enough to keep the young and not-so-young happy! – For the little ones and the young at heart the children’s vintage fairground is always a success, and throughout the day there will be various events in the arena, some enabling audience participation! 🚘 The Annual Ridgeway Run for Historic Commercial Vehicles will be back here on Father's Day, as usual. The vehicles rally from Henley to us here in Quainton, arriving around 11am, in time for you to admire them all!
Organised by the Historic Commercial Vehicle Society (South Midlands area), we are always pleased to welcome their members together with their commercial vehicles at this popular rally when, usually, around 60-80 historic vehicles are on display.
🛤 EVENT DETAILS
Visitors to the railway on this special Father's Day are given a real treat to admire all the beautiful vehicles taking part in the rally, which has been coming here on Father's Day for over 40 years!
Plus, enjoy everything that we usually have on offer as well... including steam train rides, miniature train rides (£1.50 each - under 3s are free), visit the railway museum, travelling post office and model railway; plus, visitor centre, café and gift shop.
Set in a 25-acre site amid beautiful countryside, with its stunning, glass-roofed Visitor Centre taking centre stage. There’s also our large Museum full of railway artefacts large and small!

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome everywhere on site and in the train.

We do not have changing facilities at the moment, but they are coming soon. Many swimmers opt to change underneath their dry robe, or you can change in the Tipi if its available.
▪️Do I need to bring my own two float?
We have some tow floats available to borrow if you don’t have your own.

We will still run wild swimming sessions in the rain, however for safety reasons the session might be cancelled during adverse weather conditions like thunderstorms and gale force winds.

We have one portaloo at the lake. The nearest other toilets are at Bean Theory, our on-site coffee shop (approx. 10 minute walk up the hill)
▪️What should I wear for wild swimming?
Everyone is different, so please feel free to wear what feels comfortable for you, be it a swimsuit or wetsuit. Water shoes or socks can be helpful on the lake floor. Please also bring a towel and warm clothes.
🗺 GETTING TO THE LAKE:
On arrival at the estate, please follow the signs to the Bean Theory Car park. Once parked, walk down the gravel track on your left, below the vineyard. After a 5-minute stroll through the estate, your lifeguard will be at the lake to meet you.

🛡 The turrets and towers of Knebworth House will provide a spectacular backdrop to the costumed Knights on majestic warhorses galloping at full tilt across the arena in a fantastic display of horsemanship. The crowds are encouraged to cheer and jeer the Knights as they demonstrate their skill.
