The Olde Watermill Shopping Village is set in and around an historic Watermill.
There has been a Watermill on the site since 1086 as the Watermill is mentioned in the Domesday book and it is one of the oldest overshot Watermills in the country.
Over the last few years, it has been lovingly restored and is now home to over 20 unique and individual shops as well as the Mill House Restaurant, Tea Room & Cafe, an antique centre, Miller’s Shopping Arcade and a soft play area for the children.

🎊 FREE ENTRY - The Walsworth Festival in Hitchin was first conceived in the 1950s and organised by the Walsworth Residents’ Community Association at St Faith’s Church. 🎉 POPKIDS - Rock Kids Launch... We are proud to bring the Popkids Experience to MK11! After 4 years of throwing the best parties on the South Coast, we thought it was time to hit the road bringing you a full 2-hour event filled to the maximum of fun energetic entertainment.

We also love bringing along special guests and live performers to every event with us. You will not only get to see them perform live but get up close and personal with them at the meet and greet photo wall to take some photos that will last a lifetime. Previous Special guests include Pikachu, Stitch, Buzz Lightyear, Bluey, Rapunzel, Elsa, Ariel, Moana and many more.
Our Resident Popkids DJS playing a range of the biggest Rock, Pop Punk, Metal and Party dances to get all the family involved. We even give him his own 20 minute take over during the show where things tend to get a bit crazy!
We also love bringing along special guests and live performers to every event with us. You will not only get to see them perform live but get up close and personal with them at the meet and greet photo wall to take some photos that will last a lifetime. Train rides are available when we are running our MK1 carriages from Platform 4 withing the brake van. Other carriages are inaccessible for wheelchairs so please do contact us before visiting to check what will be running.
Our site is generally very wheelchair friendly, however, our trains use vintage carriages and their doors are not wide enough for wheelchairs and there are steps to get on.
