Throughout December we’ll be sprinkling fairy lights throughout the town for you to find on our Christmas Lights Trail.

On the trail you’ll discover illuminated trees and lamp posts, glittering overhead lights in Market Square, photo opportunities by the Market Cross and lots of fairy lights hidden inside our independent shops.
☕️ AN IDEA WHILE YOU'RE IN TOWN....
While you’re in town why not pick up a few extra gifts from the Market, or visit one of our independent coffee shops for a hot drink and a gingerbread for the children. There are lots of low cost items in the charity shops too!

Go past Santa’s Workshop and mailroom on the way where presents get wrapped and letters to Santa are sorted through!
2️⃣ MAKE SOME REINDEER FOOD
Stop off at the Reindeer Food Bar to prepare and bag up some reindeer food to take home ready to leave out on Christmas Eve!
3️⃣ PHOTO WITH SANTA

The Light Trail has been designed to be as accessible as possible, a lot of the route is on hard standing paths and is approximately one mile in length. There is however uneven ground and no hard standing in the woodland areas. If it rains, it may get muddy, and access may be difficult in this area. Four-wheel drive buggies are advisable. If you have access requirements and the day you have purchased for has adverse weather, then please contact us and we will amend your booking for a future date.
The food village will be accessible as well as wheelchair user friendly. Disabled parking is free and toilet facilities are available.

Unfortunately not. The trail will be too busy and the paths are not suitable.

First stop is a visit to Buffer and Stoker in their Engine Shed. These clever Elves will help you design your own Santa Express decoration to take home with you whilst entertaining you with jokes and fun.
🦌MAGICAL REINDEER FOOD
Full steam ahead to the Junction Shed to meet Mr P the Station Master. He has just received a delivery of Christmassy letters from Rudolph, one for every child, and your magical reindeer food ready for Christmas Eve. Mr P the Station Master will also help you make your own special wish upon a star.

Conductor, the Elf will then lead the way and give each a child a ticket for Santa’s special Christmas ride.

The parking is on gravel stones so this maybe hard to navigate a wheelchair. Although it does mention on the website that you can park infront of the Farm Shop which is tarmac ideal for wheelchair users. The farm shop, Steak House & Tea room are accessible. On a winter day you may find the zoo area paths are muddy, with some gravel paths and grass, so it maybe hard to push a wheelchair in places. There is a wooden slat ramp to the Tropical house.

🎅✨️ Enchanted Forest' at Luton Point - Christmas 2024 (£3per child or FREE if you spend £20 or more at The Point, Luton)

🎅 Father Christmas is heading to Luton Point this Christmas - join us in the 'Enchanted Forest' for an exciting festive family adventure...
▪️DATES: Up untill 24/12/24
▪️TIMES: 10am - 5pm
(10am-3pm Christmas Eve)
▪️SESSION TIME: 30 minute slots
🧑🎄 WHAT TO EXPECT
Upon entering the ‘Enchanted Forest’ you’ll be welcomed by a friendly Forest Elf who will guide the way along the magical forest path. As you explore deeper into the wooded glade, you’ll be invited to create your own wooden Christmas decoration and pose for a festive photo on the ‘Forest Throne’.
Taking pride of place up ahead and nestled amongst the trees, Father Christmas’ log cabin will be shining brightly, with the man himself waiting inside to greet you for a one-on-one family meeting.
🌠 After sharing your hopes & dreams for this festive season, Father Christmas will reward you with a magical token, to be thrown into the ‘Christmas Wishing Well’ along with your BIGGEST wish, before you head out of the ‘Enchanted Forest’.
The full activity, including a visit with Father Christmas, will last around 25 minutes in total.
😌 QUIETER SESSIONS:
We invite families requiring additional support to book during our first time slots from 10am each Sunday (24th November, 1st / 8th / 15th & 22nd December 24) when the shopping centre is a little quieter and the children can be allowed more time to complete the activity.

🎟 TICKETS & HOW TO GET FREE ENTRY:
*Entry to Luton Point’s ‘Enchanted Forest’ event is £3 per child or FREE if you have spent £20 or more in any of Luton Point’s shops on the day of your visit. Simply show your receipts at the Welcome Desk for FREE entry.
Your spend / receipt value of £20+ will be recorded by the team for management purposes. You will retain your original receipt and your personal / card details will not be recorded.
A receipt (or combined receipts) for £20+ spend is eligible for a maximum of THREE children to attend the event for free. Additional children, or shoppers not wishing to present receipts, will be asked to pay £3 per child at the Welcome Desk by card or cash.
If you are visiting during the first 1.5hrs (between 10am and 11.30am) on a Sunday morning we can accept receipts from the previous 3 days prior as stores will not be open in time to present receipts for that day.

💝 WHO IS THIS FOR?
This is for anyone in need. Those with children will be sat separately. There is no need to struggle with food costs. Please come and see us for a sit down Christmas meal at St Paul's Church Square, Bedford.
🎹 WHAT TO EXPECT
We will have Christmas songs on the organ, a full Christmas roast featuring controversial Yorkshire puddings, pudding, sandwiches, cakes, mince pies and so much more. This meal replaces our 21st foodbank service and we will have free fruit and veg too as we normally do on a Saturday.
😊 DON'T WORRY YOU CAN TAKEAWAY IF YOU WANT TO
We all too often hear that people are embarrassed and there is no need. If you dont want to sit down that is also absolutely fine, you can take your food away.
