First stop is a visit to Buffer and Stoker in their Engine Shed. These clever Elves will help you design your own Santa Express decoration to take home with you whilst entertaining you with jokes and fun.
🦌MAGICAL REINDEER FOOD
Full steam ahead to the Junction Shed to meet Mr P the Station Master. He has just received a delivery of Christmassy letters from Rudolph, one for every child, and your magical reindeer food ready for Christmas Eve. Mr P the Station Master will also help you make your own special wish upon a star.

Conductor, the Elf will then lead the way and give each a child a ticket for Santa’s special Christmas ride.

Upon entering the ‘Enchanted Forest’ you’ll be welcomed by a friendly Forest Elf who will guide the way along the magical forest path. As you explore deeper into the wooded glade, you’ll be invited to create your own wooden Christmas decoration and pose for a festive photo on the ‘Forest Throne’.
Taking pride of place up ahead and nestled amongst the trees, Father Christmas’ log cabin will be shining brightly, with the man himself waiting inside to greet you for a one-on-one family meeting.
🌠 After sharing your hopes & dreams for this festive season, Father Christmas will reward you with a magical token, to be thrown into the ‘Christmas Wishing Well’ along with your BIGGEST wish, before you head out of the ‘Enchanted Forest’.
The full activity, including a visit with Father Christmas, will last around 25 minutes in total.

The parking is on gravel stones so this maybe hard to navigate a wheelchair. Although it does mention on the website that you can park infront of the Farm Shop which is tarmac ideal for wheelchair users. The farm shop, Steak House & Tea room are accessible. On a winter day you may find the zoo area paths are muddy, with some gravel paths and grass, so it maybe hard to push a wheelchair in places. There is a wooden slat ramp to the Tropical house.

The Light Trail has been designed to be as accessible as possible, a lot of the route is on hard standing paths and is approximately one mile in length. There is however uneven ground and no hard standing in the woodland areas. If it rains, it may get muddy, and access may be difficult in this area. Four-wheel drive buggies are advisable. If you have access requirements and the day you have purchased for has adverse weather, then please contact us and we will amend your booking for a future date.
The food village will be accessible as well as wheelchair user friendly. Disabled parking is free and toilet facilities are available.

🎶 WHAT TO EXPECT
It is that time of year again to celebrate Christmas and what better way to celebrate than coming to dance along to the shows, help us save Christmas from the grinch and have the opportunity to meet our Elf and take selfies.
🕔 WHAT TIME? NOT GUARANTEED
The lights will turn on every night with the first show at 5pm, followed by a different show every 15 minutes, the shows will be different each time so come along more than once to see something new and don't forget to look out for our Elf who will be available for photos through out the night.

🎅 BACK FOR 2024... The popular Santa's Grotto Experience is back at The Emporium in Woburn Sands! Adapted SEN sessions with longer times in between sessions to allow the journey to the grotto to be enjoyed in good time taking into account any wheelchair users etc.

Make some magical memories this Christmas as one of Santa's elves greets you as you arrive and then you will walk through different themes, taking in the sights and sounds on the way to the grotto to be greeted by the man himself where children will be able to chat with Santa and receive a present.
1️⃣ WALK BY SANTA’S WORKSHOP
Go past Santa’s Workshop and mailroom on the way where presents get wrapped and letters to Santa are sorted through!
2️⃣ MAKE SOME REINDEER FOOD
Stop off at the Reindeer Food Bar to prepare and bag up some reindeer food to take home ready to leave out on Christmas Eve!
3️⃣ PHOTO WITH SANTA
(OPTIONAL EXTRA)
A photograph will be taken with Santa and will be available to purchase as an additional extra, either as a print in a presentation folder or a gift item such as a bauble or snow block (subject to availability). This is an optional extra and there is no obligation to purchase.

Participants are given a white shopper bag. The artist provides participants with prepared sketches on a Christmas theme. Participants draw the outline of the drawing on the bag. And then fill the drawing with professional paint. At the end of the master class, each participant takes home their new bag.
🔸️12pm – 12.45pm Art School – Christmas Card
For each participant a personal place is prepared at an individual easel. Participants choose a sketch of a drawing on a Christmas theme. And draw standing at the easel on a large sheet of cardboard, A3 format. At the end of the master class, each participant takes home a finished Christmas card.
🔸️1pm – 2pm Create a Festive Crown with Kaye Mahoney (aka Kaye Leidoskope)
These upcycled cardboard crowns are a delightful addition to any kid’s dressing up box for the Christmas holidays. Made using cardboard and recycled Christmas cards and decorations. Age suggestions 3 or 4 years and up.

Laughter exercises such as making a laughter milkshake and unpacking a laughter present. Have you heard an elephant laugh? Come along to open your imagination and walk away full of festive joy.

📍WHERE I CAN FIND THE CAFE
The Museum cafe is on the lower ground level. Enter the cafe from our Akeman Street Car Park, by using the lift or by going round the outside of the building. To get to the cafe from the car park you have to go down two steps or a short slope. The cafe doors are 138cm wide. There are male and female toilets outside the cafe within 10 metres. To get to these toilets you have to go up one step. Both male and female toilets have baby changing facilities.

🔎Search the galleries and help Father Christmas track them down by using clues from the postcards the reindeer sent from their travels.

Open: Tuesday - Sunday 10:00-mid afternoon.

⭐️The Museum café is also open to non-Museum visitors.
📍WHERE I CAN FIND THE CAFE
The Museum cafe is on the lower ground level. Enter the cafe from our Akeman Street Car Park, by using the lift or by going round the outside of the building. To get to the cafe from the car park you have to go down two steps or a short slope. The cafe doors are 138cm wide. There are male and female toilets outside the cafe within 10 metres. To get to these toilets you have to go up one step. Both male and female toilets have baby changing facilities.
