🌲 Leighton Buzzard will welcome the festive season in style with the Christmas Light Switch On, taking place from 4pm to 8pm on Friday 27 November 2026.
🎶 ENTERTAINMENT
The stage programme will showcase fantastic local talent, with performances from Infinite All Stars Cheerleading, Razzamataz, Leighton Buzzard Children’s Theatre and The V.I.Peas, building excitement ahead of the countdown.
🛍 STALLS
Visitors can browse the festive market for seasonal gifts and treats, or stop by the Food Court for a variety of delicious food and drink.
🎅 SANTA...
Santa will also make a special appearance aboard the Rotary Santa Sleigh, bringing Christmas cheer for young and old.

🌟 LIGHT SWITCH ON - 7PM
At 7pm, all eyes will turn to the lights as Leighton Buzzard is lit up for the festive season. A dazzling fireworks display will add an extra touch of magic to the celebrations, creating festive memories for everyone gathered in the town.
The much-loved annual celebration promises an evening packed with entertainment for the whole family.

You can explore the trail at your own pace, enjoying the installations as quickly or slowly as you like. On average, the trail will take approximately 60-75 minutes.

This outdoor event features light installations placed at various points around our Grade II* listed gardens. We have taken every step to make as many areas as possible accessible to visitors. However, due to the scale and nature of the gardens and grounds, we cannot always guarantee full accessibility.
Please be aware the trail includes bright flashing lights, busy crowds, music & pyrotechnics.
