Spending time outdoors is also important for mental health. Being in nature can improve mood, reduce anxiety, and boost overall well-being. Fishing provides a chance to breathe fresh air, enjoy quiet moments, and feel a sense of achievement.

A fully qualified facilitator and level 2 angling coach with over 30 years of angling experience. They will also provide fishing tackle, bait, etc. Please note that a rod licence to fish will be provided.

๐ฅ Northamptonโs Annual Fireworks Spectacular will be on Saturday 1st November 2025 at The Racecourse. Entry is FREE!
Entertainment will begin at 4pm, with live stage hosted by BBC Northamptonshire fun fair rides, big screen showcase, facepainting, stalls and catering village.

Kicking off proceedings, live band Funk Odyssey Band Official Page. Get the party well and truly started, followed by the Live Performers who will wow the crowds with their daring Fire and Pyro Show.

The Northamptonshire Gunpowder Plot heritage film will play on big screens, telling the tale of how historyโs most infamous attempt to bring down the Houses of Parliament has links to the county and resulted in the eponymous Guy Fawkes Night; produced by Northampton Film Festival.
Plus bringing this special year of commemorations for the 350th Anniversary of The Great Fire of Northampton to a close, 2025โs fireworks event pays tribute to this significant milestone in Northamptonโs history. Step back in time to 1675 with a free family adventure in the town centre and learn more about Northamptonโs heritage with The Explore Northampton App Virtual Trail; produced by AR Media Productions Ltd.

As you follow the trail, use your 3D classes to reveal a secret hidden letter. The letters will spell out a magic word. Whether youโre a seasoned sorcerer or just starting out, this workshop promises a bewitching blend of creativity and wicked fun.
The workshop runs from 11am โ 4pm.

This spectacular FREE event is great for all ages and the fireworks will be set to a musical soundtrack spanning the decades, featuring golden oldies and the latest hits.
There'll be plenty of delicious food and drink to enjoy, including burgers, hot dogs and sweet treats from cakes to candy floss. You'll also find plenty of hot drink options to help you stay warm.
