Step into a world of enchantment at our magical themed weekend—packed with hands-on experiences, animal encounters, and spellbinding displays the whole family will love.

▪️11.00 – Pat a pet with the rabbits and guinea pigs
▪️11.30 – Enjoy our magical Owl flying display – see different species of owls, experience their silent flight as we fly them right over your heads.
▪️12.15 – Tractor Rides (weather dependent)
▪️12.30 – Have a go at flying an owl, a truly magical moment as they glide into your gloved hand

🚂 Steaming Days is when we have a full-size steam train in action, ready to take you for a ride up and down our track! We also have miniature ride-on trains which are run by our sister society VAMES, (there is a small £1.50 charge for this per person – under 3s are free.

The rest of the site is open including the Railway Museum, the Visitor Centre with Gift Shop and Railway Cafe, and the model trains are usually running too. Steaming Days are most Sundays (Easter-Halloween), and also some Bank Holidays and some Wednesdays during school holidays. We have 25-acres of Railwayland to explore! Come and enjoy your local heritage railway!

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome around the site and on the train. The only area they are not permitted is in the cafe.
