We’ll also run ‘have a go’ sessions on the pottery wheel, making ceramic ornaments, printing tote bags, making coasters, and weaving willows.

- ✨️Card Weaving (30 Mins – please book) – create a coaster on a cardboard loom using recycled materials
- ✨️Willow Weaving – An informal drop-in session to contribute to a communal piece (like our willow angel near the Café) (15 mins – drop-in)

▪️If you’re new to wild swimming and planning to start in the cooler months, we recommend you attend our ‘Introduction to Cold Water Swimming’ Course.

We do not have changing facilities at the moment, but they are coming soon. Many swimmers opt to change underneath their dry robe, or you can change in the Tipi if its available.

We have some tow floats available to borrow if you don’t have your own.

We have one portaloo at the lake. The nearest other toilets are at Bean Theory, our on-site coffee shop (approx. 10 minute walk up the hill)
▪️What should I wear for wild swimming?
Everyone is different, so please feel free to wear what feels comfortable for you, be it a swimsuit or wetsuit. Water shoes or socks can be helpful on the lake floor. Please also bring a towel and warm clothes.
🗺 GETTING TO THE LAKE:
On arrival at the estate, please follow the signs to the Bean Theory Car park. Once parked, walk down the gravel track on your left, below the vineyard. After a 5-minute stroll through the estate, your lifeguard will be at the lake to meet you.

ℹ️ ABOUT
The Medicine Wheel is a stone circle consisting of two concentric circles of stone, with longer stones at the north, south, east and west points the design was inspired by the legends of the Hopi Nation in North America. Their prophesies foretell an age of peace when all nations from the four corners of the earth join a common effort to live in peace and harmony.
The wheel’s design pays homage to British traditions of building circles alongside meeting places and important sites. Two extra pairs of stone situated north east and south west of the circle align with the needle stone alongside the lake. These join the ‘Midsummer Line’, which follows the Midsummer sunrise that runs through the Tree Cathedral to the Belvedere in Campbell Park, along Midsummer Boulevard in Central Milton Keynes.

His original mix of Blues, Rock’N’Roll and Rockabilly songwriting style has been noted worldwide by luminaries such as Billy Pennell, T.V Weeks Jeff Jenkins, the U.S Blues bible “Blues Review’, as well as Rolling Stone magazine.
He has toured all over Australia, including major festivals such as the East Coast Festival in Byron Bay five times, as well as Bridgetown Cairns and Broadbeach Blues festivals.
He has also toured Europe six times, performing at the Great British Blues Festival, Kwadendamme Blues Festival in the Netherlands and The Screamin’ Festival in Spain. 2017 saw him perform in The U.S.A at the prestigious Viva Las Vegas festival as a guest at Deke Dickersons Guitar geek Festival.
