🔎 Following your success at the Dunstable Downs Spring Tournament, it’s time to train for the next challenge - facing mythical creatures on an exciting adventure! To be ready for the quest in October, this May half-term, you’ll need to sharpen your map reading skills and familiarise yourself with the creatures and tools you’ll encounter along the way.

The Animal Experience are fully insured and all staff are DBS checked. They have studied Herpetology and Pet Store Management. They have City & Guilds qualifications in both Pet Store Management and teaching (PTTLS 7303). They are a licensed zoo so rest assured their animals are in peak condition as their welfare is checked and meet the high standards of animal husbandry that this licence requires. They also have a Transportation licence from the Animal Health and Veterinary Laboratories agency. On top of this, Hazel is a paramedic and so health and safety is always put first and foremost!

It is FREE entry, you can pick your own strawberries at a cost (currently not ready for fruit picking everyday) with other activities for children and the family to enjoy. Set in the beautiful surrounding countryside. A great family fun, memorable day out for all and not far from Bedfordshire! Plus they have a car boot sale on Saturday's.

👀 A FREE A- MAZ-ING HIDDEN GEM IN BEDFORDSHIRE at Roxton Garden Centre! A maze that is free to go too, kids & adults will love it...... if you can find it that is!
🤔SO WHERE IS IT?
This FREE MAZE is located at the wonderful Roxton Garden Centre in Bedfordshire. When you enter the car park you will not see any signposts for it. As you go in the car park facing the garden centre turn right, then turn left as if you are heading for a dead end, it may seem like you are heading for the delivery entrance but there you will see trees on your right and a sign in front of you 'Roxton Maze'.
The maze is located next to the garden centre in a spacious field with a few benches to sit on. At the moment it is being trimmed back due to some hanging branches, we had to duck and dive a few times but it added to all the fun we had.
♿️ IS THE MAZE SUITABLE FOR PUSHCHAIRS OR WHEELCHAIRS?
I would say it is NOT suitable as there are branches, some on the floor and hanging low, some spaces may not be big enough to venture through and also the surface may not be suitable in my personal opinion. It can get muddy too.

🦖 Hear the T-Rex's ferocious roar, say hello to our cheeky velociraptor and brave an encounter with our Dilophosaurus’. Throw some shapes at the Dino Disco and cheer on your favourite during the Dino Dash. Take part in our brand-new games show challenge for some mind-warping fun with interactive mysteries and puzzles to solve. Plus, enjoy all the usual fun of the farm including outdoor and indoor adventure play, SkyTrail and rock climbing wall and, of course, meet all our adorable animals and take part in daily activities including Bottle Feeding Lambs.

🎊 Get ready for an exciting Bank Holiday Monday at the Leighton Buzzard Railway - it’s really going to be fun for the whole family.
🚂 WHAT TO EXPECT

The first train leaves at 10.30 and we will be running our blue service, this means a choice of five trains to ride each day behind one of our historic steam locomotives.
Starting at Pages Park you will enjoy our 90-minute steam train ride along an exciting, three-mile route built over 100 years ago - can you count how many roads we cross?
As well as the journey, your visit includes a 25-minute stopover at our historic Stonehenge Works station. Here you will find a crafts and refreshments shop (featuring local artists' work), museum exhibits and a play area for the kids. For one-day only we will have outdoor games at both ends of the line.

On your return to Pages Park, we have our Engine Shed show where you can see our steam locomotives, as well as a large inflatable to play on - free for children who travel on the train.

We will also have a guided Engine Shed Show tour at Page’s Park which will include most of our steam locomotives as well as the photographic display of the line and its construction. The Really Awesome Railway Café will be open with a full menu.
