Burns Night is celebrated every year on 25 January in honour of Scotland's national poet, Robert Burns.
The Ayrshire poet and lyricist died in 1796, at the age of 37, but he is still regarded as the most prominent poet to have written in the Scots dialect.

š¤©The Land of Lights 2025 was amazing when whatsUp Bedfordshire went as a family! We managed to book early and in doing so we got tickets for Ā£10 each. These have now gone up to around Ā£15pp.

Wow what a great Sunday evening we had. We managed to get the early bird tickets for Ā£10pp and this was definitely worth it. We will šÆ be going back next year, the whole family absolutely loved it!
š¶āāļøāæļø HOW LONG DID IT TAKE TO WALK AROUND?
The magical walk took around 1.5 hours with play areas indoor and outdoor for the children to enjoy too! This is fully accessible so great for wheelchairs & pushchairs.
š ANIMALS
You get to walk into the animal barn on your way round where you can see, donkeys, goats, sheep and guinea pigs.
šÆāāļøINDOOR LIGHT SHOW & AN INDOOR PLAY AREA
There is an indoor light show where you will find dancers, this is varied times so ask when you get there if you would like to be pointed in the right direction. Also inside you will find a play area with a slide and hidey holes, another great addition!
š„TOASTING MARSHMALLOWS
You can book a bag of marshmallows and sticks to your booking for Ā£4.50. To be fair you get quite a lot, you can save money by bringing your own sticks and marshmallows to toast on the fire.

š» DETAILS
The house in question is a rambling old structure of ancient vintage, built high on a cliff overlooking the English Channel. Years ago a boat sank in a storm near the foot of the cliff and it is said that the ghosts of the drowned passengers haunt the area.
The houses occupants include a young, lovely heiress, Ellen Clayton, who is currently confined to a wheelchair; Karen her coolly beautiful stepmother; and Jenny an austere housekeeper.
The Nurse Pepper arrives, a cheerful, curious person desirous of putting things in order. And thereās the substitute doctor, Corey Phillips who believes Ellen can walk again and soon. It all begins with a sudden, violent murder and ends with a chilling, surprising climax.

There is step-free, level access to the theatre which can be accessed by taking the path at the right at the bottom of the drive. Cross in front of the theatre and follow the path through the gate and up the side of the building.

There is no car park at the theatre itself, however, there are two public car parks close to the theatre. One can be found at 87 West Street Dunstable LU5 4RQ (where there is an exit onto High Street South) and the other at Priory Gardens, Church Close, Dunstable, Bedfordshire.

š» DETAILS
The house in question is a rambling old structure of ancient vintage, built high on a cliff overlooking the English Channel. Years ago a boat sank in a storm near the foot of the cliff and it is said that the ghosts of the drowned passengers haunt the area.
The houses occupants include a young, lovely heiress, Ellen Clayton, who is currently confined to a wheelchair; Karen her coolly beautiful stepmother; and Jenny an austere housekeeper.
The Nurse Pepper arrives, a cheerful, curious person desirous of putting things in order. And thereās the substitute doctor, Corey Phillips who believes Ellen can walk again and soon. It all begins with a sudden, violent murder and ends with a chilling, surprising climax.

There is step-free, level access to the theatre which can be accessed by taking the path at the right at the bottom of the drive. Cross in front of the theatre and follow the path through the gate and up the side of the building.

There is no car park at the theatre itself, however, there are two public car parks close to the theatre. One can be found at 87 West Street Dunstable LU5 4RQ (where there is an exit onto High Street South) and the other at Priory Gardens, Church Close, Dunstable, Bedfordshire.

What can I say the food exceeded our spectations. The homemade soup of the day I had was potato & leek which came with a warm small baguette and butter sachets, this tasted so lovely & it was so filling the price was an amazing at only for homemade soup Ā£5 ! My grandaughter even asked for more!

which included a proper sausage not those cheap ones you may get.
šHALLUMI & FIELD MUSHROOM BURGER
Because the food was so lovely we decided to share the Hallumi, Field Mushroom Burger which was also so lovely at the price of Ā£4.50...add a bit of mayo and this was amazing!
šØMILKSHAKES
We opted for the Strawberry & Chocolate Milkshakes that are made from real dairy icecream from a local Dairy Farm. The milkshakes had sauce in them topped off with squirty cream. Definitely another winner and a great price at Ā£3.80! The chocolate one got the heads up from my grandaughter!
š¶ FOR DOGS
Dogs are welcome in the Bistro on a lead but must be kept off of chairs & tables.
If you have your furry friends with you you can sit at any table numbers between 1-7.
You can buy homemade dog biscuits at only Ā£1 and will find a water bowl outside by the benches if they get a little thirsty.
