Our trail is most suited to children under 8 years of age but everyone is welcome to take part.
Our Easter Bunny has been hopping around Willen Lake and accidentally dropped eight of his eggs! Each one comes with a fun challenge, from spotting wildlife and discovering different leaves to striking your best bunny pose. The Nature Reserve is open all year round, except 9th-10th May and 10th-11th October 2026.
📖 HISTORY
Nobody is certain of the exact date, but it is likely that a watermill has stood on the site of the current Stotfold Mill beside the River Ivel for over a thousand years and it is certainly one of the oldest recorded buildings in the town. The first written evidence is the mention of four mills in Stotfold in the Domesday book of 1086. One of those four was the currently-named Stotfold Mill.
