🎇 Redbourn Fireworks 2025 - Redbourn Common

Saturday 08 November 2025

Time: 17:00

🎇 This year's Redbourn Common, Hertfordshire firework display is being held on Saturday 8th November 2025.

🎡 FUNFAIR
The fair starts at 5pm and along with them, there will be food and drinks available along The Avenue.

🎇 FIREWORK DISPLAY
The display starts at 7pm but do come earlier as we have the brilliant Fun Fair provided by Philip Green. They have been coming to Redbourn Common for many years now, so please do come and support them.

✅️ FREE ADMISSION, DONATIONS WELCOME
This event is organised by the Firework Display volunteers, who are a working party of the Parish Council and hopefully you will agree, that it is a well run event that relies heavily on volunteers. The event is free (we do not charge an admission fee), and this is where we need your help. It is entirely funded through sponsorship, donations on the night via the bucket collectors, and the sale of raffle tickets. This money enables us to cover our costs and then enables us to be able to put the event on again the next year. Please look out for the bucket collectors on the night and the marques where raffle tickets will be sold. If you don't see anyone on the night - don't worry - you can still donate via our Just Giving page.

We are always looking for volunteers over the weekend, so if you have an hour or two to spare please sign up here https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0C4FA8AB29ABFDC25-55375346-redbourn#/

⛔️ ROAD CLOSURES
There is a road closure in place from 6pm which closes the roads around the Common. This means will be no vehicular access from 6pm - 8pm to ensure the safety of the public. If you have friends joining you from outside the area, please ensure they are aware and either come earlier, or find an alternative route.

For public safety reasons, for those in roads affected we advise that if you need to go out or return between these times (or have visitors) then you move your car to a side street.

We look forward to seeing you at what promises to be another good display.

Roads marked in red on the map around Redbourn Common will be closed between 6-8pm with access only for emergency vehicles for the duration of the closure. Blue dotted lines denotes the diversion.

🅿️ CAR PARKING INFORMATION
Car parking will be available at the Cricket Pavilion and Lybury Lane (designated disabled parking). There is also parking on the streets around the village but please park responsibly and considerately, ensuring you don't block any driveways/pavements/footpaths for wheelchair, pushchair users etc. Wherever possible please travel on foot.

🎤 UK Decay - The Hat Factory Arts Centre, Luton

Time: 19:00 - 22:30

🎤 UK Decay booked for rare appearance with a Hometown Show at Luton's Hat Factory
Post-punk pioneers UK Decay will be playing a hometown show at Luton’s Hat Factory on Saturday 8 November 2025 to coincide with the vinyl re-release of their seminal album For Madmen Only.

▪️AGE: 18+

ℹ️ ABOUT THE BAND
This follows the band’s appearance at Forever Now Festival on Saturday June 2025 at the Milton Keynes Bowl, with potentially one or two other gigs being realised this year and perhaps into 2026 – For Madmen Finale?

Formed in Luton in 1979, UK Decay built an ever-growing, truly international fan base on the back of politically charged, thunderous releases, and high-intensity gigs. Described as “the cult before The Cult” by one journalist, their dark, angular music saw them (inadvertently) name and lead the proto-goth movement.

Released in 1981, For Madmen Only is the band’s debut album. While a CD version was released some 15 years ago, this new vinyl version will be released through Rough Trade on heavy 180-gram vinyl and will be re-mastered from the original tapes. The band are also planning to license the rights for their two John Peel Sessions and include those together with their early singles on a further vinyl release.

Commenting on the upcoming hometown gig, singer Abbo said:

“Good to get out there again, same songs, same message, same messed up world that we’re talking about….. the hope? It will get better, and where best to start spreading that word than the centre of the World – Luton Town.”

🎟 TICKET COST:
▪️£27.50 Adv (inc. Booking Fee)
▪️£32.50 On Door (inc. Booking Fee)
