A curious box lies still in Ampthill Park…
Music wakes up what hides inside, as eyes appear from every angle and strange creatures begin to emerge from within. As the music builds, the box erupts into a frenzy of tap dancing and a half bird, half human contortionist balances precariously on top. What other creatures will appear and what else can possibly be contained within this bottomless box? Enjoy the 16 super soaking water features ranging from gentle mists, spray arches and tipping buckets to spray shooter cannons. The Splash Park is designed to be enjoyed by children of all ages from 2 years to 10 years.

🌳 Stotfold Watermill & Nature Reserve 2025
Time: 12:30 - 17:00
ℹ️ THE MILL
There are three floors to view. We recommend the minimum time would be 15 minutes for each floor. There is a lift in the mill which allows full access to all three floors, there is also a toilet, for disabled visitors.
🌳 THE NATURE RESERVE
The Nature Reserve is open all year round, except 10th-11th May and 4th-5th October 2025. A circular walk takes around 45 minutes.
🐶 ABOUT DOGS
With the exception of guide dogs, we do not allow dogs in the mill. We welcome well behaved dogs in the Nature Reserve and ask that they be kept on leads at all times – many animals and birds breed or feed on the reserve, at or near ground level at all seasons of the year.
