We believe that it is our responsibility to re-pay the community for all the support
weโve enjoyed over 25 years. So we have always made it our responsibility
to help charities with a special offer. We donโt give money but help them to help
themselves by giving them a very special deal on the price of a pitch. We particularly like having the smaller charities with us. For instance every year a husband and wife raise money for a special school to have an outing and any money left over is used towards much-needed equipment. โน๏ธ ABOUT THE MUSEUM
The Museum is a memorial dedicated to the personnel of the 306th Bomb Group who operated from Thurleigh during WW2, as part of the Eighth Air Force 40th Combat Wing, 1st Air Division.
The Museum is an original building formally used by the 306th BG as a Small Arms Ammunition store.
We use it today to display artefacts to re-create the activities and atmosphere of the airfield and surrounding areas during the war years, as well as honour all those that lost their lives.

There are six creative and colourful houses for families to seek out to delve deeper into the wonderful world of Wardownโs treasured collection. These exciting new installations offer families a fun and accessible way to explore and interact with Wardown Museumโs exhibits.
