🎼 Join us for an uplifting workshop at Linslade Community Hall, where we’ll learn simple, fun and powerful songs that inspire understanding and connection. No experience needed - all the songs will be taught by ear in a relaxed and accessible way.

This workshop is suitable for anyone who needs a boost and would love to sing with others. After the workshop, we'll be treated to a performance by singers from local choirs Rising Voices and Open Voices, and we’ll share what we’ve learned in a short, informal performance - raising our voices together in a celebration of community and hope.

Victoria Stead has been a Natural Voice Practitioner for 15 years and is passionate about encouraging people to sing! She enjoys creating a space for singers to relax, laugh, shake off fears and grow in confidence. Vix Voices includes her groups Rising Voices and Mamas Voices in Leighton Buzzard and Open Voices in Milton Keynes as well as workshops and singing weekends.

👀 A FREE A- MAZ-ING HIDDEN GEM IN BEDFORDSHIRE at Roxton Garden Centre! A maze that is free to go too, kids & adults will love it...... if you can find it that is!
🤔SO WHERE IS IT?
This FREE MAZE is located at the wonderful Roxton Garden Centre in Bedfordshire. When you enter the car park you will not see any signposts for it. As you go in the car park facing the garden centre turn right, then turn left as if you are heading for a dead end, it may seem like you are heading for the delivery entrance but there you will see trees on your right and a sign in front of you 'Roxton Maze'.
The maze is located next to the garden centre in a spacious field with a few benches to sit on. At the moment it is being trimmed back due to some hanging branches, we had to duck and dive a few times but it added to all the fun we had.
♿️ IS THE MAZE SUITABLE FOR PUSHCHAIRS OR WHEELCHAIRS?
I would say it is NOT suitable as there are branches, some on the floor and hanging low, some spaces may not be big enough to venture through and also the surface may not be suitable in my personal opinion. It can get muddy too.
🔓WHEN IS THE MAZE OPEN?
The Maze is open the same time when the Garden Centre is open. The details are below.
Please beware they may close the maze at anytime due to maintenance, so it maybe a good idea to contact them before planning your trip to avoid disappointment.

The garden centre is wheelchair friendly and dog friendly. You can buy things from plants, to clothes, to toys. Definitely worth a look!
☕️ THE CAFE
The cafe has hot and cold food and drink options at reasonable prices. There is a kids menu and an indoor & outdoor space with unmbrellas to sit in the sun and relax amongst the outdoor flower section of the Garden Centre. Dogs are allowed but they are not allowed in the main restaurant area. Just ask staff if you are not sure, they will be happy to help. They do a great carvery on a Sunday, you may need to book for this as it can get quite busy serving between 11:30 - 3:30pm.

🪨 The Hellfire Caves is like nowhere you have ever been before! Built in the 17th century you travel underground deep into the Chiltern hills. All riders need to be 12 months or older to board. To hire a boat on your own, you need to be over the age of 16. Riders under the age of 16 must have consent given by a guardian who is with them. Said guardian will need to sign the hire agreement. Management will asses each group individually with a view on safety and suitability and have the right to decline hire based on this.

Yes. Please clean up any hair and other dog related 'mess' before you get back to the jetty. Be sure you keep your dog on a lead for the duration of your hire. Wildlife such as swans have priority and should not be distressed by dogs. Life jackets for dogs are not available.

⛪️ The De Grey Mausoleum is attached to the mid-15th-century parish church of St John at Flitton, Bedfordshire. It was first built in the early 17th century, before being expanded in 1704.The mausoleum contains a remarkable collection of funerary monuments spanning three centuries.

🐑 The farm will be open again during the peak Lambing Season during the Easter period.
Visitors can hold the lambs and see a modern sheep farm at work. With over 2000 sheep to give birth, it is a great chance to see lambs being born, taking their first few steps and suckling their mothers for the first time.

There is something for everyone, from pony & tractor rides to wool spinning, painting, bouncy castle, lamb cuddles, face painting or just watching the ewes and lambs. Wellies might have to be worn as it can get quite muddy.

We don’t advertise feeding times as there are not enough lambs for everyone to feed, but if your lucky you may be in the right place at the right time!

We sell hot & cold drinks and homemade cakes. The BBQ has locally sourced burgers and sausages. Cash only is required to purchase.
♿️ Is the site wheelchair friendly?
We offer disabled parking and most the site is concreted. It is easy to get around the lambing shed and see the attractions.

Pre booked tickets will be needed for entry before 12.30. After 12.30 you can arrive with no ticket required and pay at the farm gate like previous years. You can book via the event link.

🦁 WHAT ANIMALS WILL I SEE?
The zoo proudly house's over 100 fascinating animals, from majestic African Lions to delightful sloth bears, a racoon dog, skunk, otters, a bob cat, wallabies, rabbits, meerkats and many more.
🌴 TROPICAL HOUSE
Inside the warm Tropical house you will find crocodiles, turtles, fish & snakes surrounded by palm trees.

🛝 FUN FOR THE KIDS
You will find an outdoor play area with a climing frame, swings, slide and bouncers. You will also find a tranquil circular woodland walk. Keep a look out for Peacocks roaming around near the Steak House!

♿️ IS THE ZOO ACCESSIABLE?
(Whatsup Bedfordshire advice)
The parking is on gravel stones so this maybe hard to navigate a wheelchair. Although it does mention on the website that you can park infront of the Farm Shop which is tarmac ideal for wheelchair users. The farm shop, Steak House & Tea room are accessible. On a winter day you may find the zoo area paths are muddy, with some gravel paths and grass, so it maybe hard to push a wheelchair in places. There is a wooden slat ramp to the Tropical house.
🚻 Accessible toilets - Accessible toilets are available in both the Steakhouse and Tea room.
