What about picking your pumpkin while in the company of our cheeky goats!
🎃 WHAT TO EXPECT
Spend some time in our pumpkin field, choose your pumpkin to take home and carve as well as spending some fun time with our cheeky goats. Under the guidance of our animal keepers you will be introduced to some of our goats including Gary, Bertie, Billy, and even some of our babies that were born in the spring.
The activity lasts for approximately 20 minutes
Your tickets will include admission into the farm and bird of prey centre for the whole day so you can visit all of our lovely farm animals including our sheep, alpacas, ponies, donkeys and many more plus view our amazing birds of prey.
🦉 DEATILS OF THE FARM
Herrings Green Activity Farm is home to over 200 birds of prey and farm animals. Come face to face with different species of Owls, Hawks, Eagles, Falcons and even Pelicans!
🦙Take a walk over to the farm where you can visit many breeds of farm animals; donkeys, sheep, goats, alpacas, ponies and many more.
🚜 PLAY AREA WITH RIDE ON TRACTOR RIDES
Take the kids to the outdoor playgrounds, have a go on the tyre run and for the little ones enjoy the ride on the toy tractors.

As the days shorten and the evenings grow darker, join our ghost-hunting storytellers on a family-friendly walk through the shadows of Wrest Park's grounds. With well-told tales full of strange and spooky goings-on, this Halloween walk is sure to get you into the spirit of the season.

This is an outdoor, early evening tour. It’s ideal if you’re after a more light-hearted Halloween event for children aged 5-10. Please wear suitable shoes, and be sure to dress for the weather.
♿️ IS THE EVENT SUITABLE FOR THOSE WITH ACCESSIBILITY NEEDS?
As this tour takes place outside, within our gardens and woodland areas, some of the route may be off of the main pathways and instead on grass and/or uneven terrain. It may be difficult to navigate buggies and wheelchairs over this ground.

Enjoy a walk around the reserve, and collect some colorful leaves to get crafting with us. We will provide you with all the other materials.

Why not make the most of your visit by taking in one of several trails around the reserve? Head to explore The Gardens planted full of wildlife friendly plants and don’t forget to make the most of our children’s play area & den building space!

Our Café team can cater for special dietary requirements – please advise them when ordering. Our Café is open from 9.30am – 4.30pm serving freshly cooked food & hot drinks.
🐶 DOG FRIENDLY
We welcome dogs on our Skylark trail and on the Bridleway transecting the reserve. Our Café is also dog friendly.

- Car parking is £6 for Non-members and free for RSPB Members. The car parking fee (£6 per vehicle for Non-members) entitles you to free access to The Lodge reserve for the whole day.

To take part in our guided walk book your places via our website £3 per person. The route will be down to Stockgrove Lake and take around an hour - you will be led by our very knowledgeable volunteer Mike Bird. Please make sure to wear suitable footwear and bring rain gear - the footpath we will take is NOT wheelchair or buggy accessible. Any children must be accompanied by an adult - suitable for age 8+ only please. Don't forget your binoculars!

OPEN 8am–4.00pm daily for breakfast, lunch, snacks, drinks, cake and ice cream (hot food served until 3.30pm)
