The zoo proudly house's over 100 fascinating animals, from majestic African Lions to delightful sloth bears, a racoon dog, skunk, otters, a bob cat, wallabies, rabbits, meerkats and many more.

The parking is on gravel stones so this maybe hard to navigate a wheelchair. Although it does mention on the website that you can park infront of the Farm Shop which is tarmac ideal for wheelchair users. The farm shop, Steak House & Tea room are accessible. On a winter day you may find the zoo area paths are muddy, with some gravel paths and grass, so it maybe hard to push a wheelchair in places. There is a wooden slat ramp to the Tropical house.

Youโll also have the chance to meet some creepy crawlies and learn about the different species that live in and around Waddesdon, as well as using a microscope to see the beauty of nature.

Pumpkins are available outside the Skull Shack from Oct 22, 2025 while supplies last. Grown at the gardens at Eythrope, theyโre perfect for carving or decorating. Suggested donation: 50p for small pumpkins or ยฃ1 for large pumpkins.

๐ท Stand beneath the spider stairwell, draped with cobwebs and clinging creatures, look on at the frightful feast laid out in the dining room, and follow the woodcutter trail along the Long Gallery this spooky season. The zoo transforms into a prehistoric world where over 40 life-size animatronic dinosaurs come to life!
Visitors can enjoy a variety of entertainment, including cool UV Halloween Drummers, a lively Silent Disco, a magical UV Puppet Show, crazy face paint and so much more!
For interactive fun, stop by the glow shop to help navigate round the dino walk, while inflatable dinosaurs and glitter tattoos add to your night. Donโt forget our dino meet and greets that provide up-close encounters with the zooโs dinosaurs.

Halloween Haunt Fest is a recommended 16+ event. Due to the nature of the event and level of scare, the event is not recommended to anyone under the age of 16.
If you are under the age of 16, you must be accompanied by a full-paying adult (18+) throughout the evening, including in attractions.
16-21 year olds must be able to prove their age with a photo ID to enter, unless accompanied by an adult (18+). Proof of ID must be photographic (Passport or Driving License) and photocopies are permitted.

Gates open at 16:30 and attractions open at 17:00. We recommend that you arrive at the start of the evening to have enough time to watch our live shows, grab some food & drinks plus enter each scare attraction. All four of our popular attractions may have longer queues at peak times. Please note that the event will close at either 22:30 or 23:00 depending on the date you select, and queue lines may close an hour prior.
