š A FREE A- MAZ-ING HIDDEN GEM IN BEDFORDSHIRE at Roxton Garden Centre! A maze that is free to go too, kids & adults will love it...... if you can find it that is!
š¤SO WHERE IS IT?
This FREE MAZE is located at the wonderful Roxton Garden Centre in Bedfordshire. When you enter the car park you will not see any signposts for it. As you go in the car park facing the garden centre turn right, then turn left as if you are heading for a dead end, it may seem like you are heading for the delivery entrance but there you will see trees on your right and a sign in front of you 'Roxton Maze'.
The maze is located next to the garden centre in a spacious field with a few benches to sit on. At the moment it is being trimmed back due to some hanging branches, we had to duck and dive a few times but it added to all the fun we had.
āæļø IS THE MAZE SUITABLE FOR PUSHCHAIRS OR WHEELCHAIRS?
I would say it is NOT suitable as there are branches, some on the floor and hanging low, some spaces may not be big enough to venture through and also the surface may not be suitable in my personal opinion. It can get muddy too.

š¤SO WHERE IS IT?
This FREE MAZE is located at the wonderful Roxton Garden Centre in Bedfordshire. When you enter the car park you will not see any signposts for it. As you go in the car park facing the garden centre turn right, then turn left as if you are heading for a dead end, it may seem like you are heading for the delivery entrance but there you will see trees on your right and a sign in front of you 'Roxton Maze'.
The maze is located next to the garden centre in a spacious field with a few benches to sit on. At the moment it is being trimmed back due to some hanging branches, we had to duck and dive a few times but it added to all the fun we had.
āæļø IS THE MAZE SUITABLE FOR PUSHCHAIRS OR WHEELCHAIRS?
I would say it is NOT suitable as there are branches, some on the floor and hanging low, some spaces may not be big enough to venture through and also the surface may not be suitable in my personal opinion. It can get muddy too.

We usually recommend the age ranges of 1-13, but an adult or sibling, cousin etc may assist young children if they would like to ride but are too small to ride alone. We do have a few dedicated toddler size attractions and are hopefully looking to bring in some more smaller attractions and inflatables specifically for tots.
With good reason, you may assist your child! If they are too young to go alone, scared etc you may assist them.
ALL children attending will need to buy a wristband upon entry, no exceptions. Plan ahead! If you think our attractions are unsuitable for your child, please plan to leave them with a parent, grandparent, friend etc.

We usually recommend the age ranges of 1-13, but an adult or sibling, cousin etc may assist young children if they would like to ride but are too small to ride alone. We do have a few dedicated toddler size attractions and are hopefully looking to bring in some more smaller attractions and inflatables specifically for tots.
With good reason, you may assist your child! If they are too young to go alone, scared etc you may assist them.
ALL children attending will need to buy a wristband upon entry, no exceptions. Plan ahead! If you think our attractions are unsuitable for your child, please plan to leave them with a parent, grandparent, friend etc.

Using nets and trays from our pond-dipping platform and guided by one of our ranger team, youāll first discuss the creatures you are likely to find, why they are key to the environment, and the importance of handling them carefully. Then youāll be given pond dipping kits and take it in turns to dip. Identification keys are available and and a ranger will be on hand to share knowledge hear about your discoveries!
Sessions last approx. 30 minutes and a responsible adult must be present throughout. Meet at the Ranger Cabin 5 mins before and your chosen, ticketed start time.

A Ranger will lead your group to our den building area and introduce you to the tools and materials available, and discuss the min main properties a shelter should have if it were to be needed in a survival situation. š The farm will be open again during the peak Lambing Season during the Easter period.
Visitors can hold the lambs and see a modern sheep farm at work. With over 2000 sheep to give birth, it is a great chance to see lambs being born, taking their first few steps and suckling their mothers for the first time.

There is something for everyone, from pony & tractor rides to wool spinning, painting, bouncy castle, lamb cuddles, face painting or just watching the ewes and lambs. Wellies might have to be worn as it can get quite muddy.

We donāt advertise feeding times as there are not enough lambs for everyone to feed, but if your lucky you may be in the right place at the right time!

We sell hot & cold drinks and homemade cakes. The BBQ has locally sourced burgers and sausages. Cash only is required to purchase.
āæļø Is the site wheelchair friendly?
We offer disabled parking and most the site is concreted. It is easy to get around the lambing shed and see the attractions.
