🫶 ABOUT
This event is free and is being delivered as part of our River/ Flow/ Connect programme of activity. Bedford Creative Arts has been working with schools, families and communities in Kempston to provide the opportunity to re-engage with the river on their doorstep and consider how art and activity can help to embrace the positive benefits of living by the river.
💡 WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?
Why not join us at the landing stage or drop in at Kempston library earlier in the day to make a lantern to carry along the walk? Or, book on to our clay workshops with artist Janet Reddy to create art which will be used in the installation along the river.
🎟 DO I NEED TO BOOK?
You don't have to book but it may get too busy due to health and safety reasons you can book on the website via the event link to avoid disappointment. - Tickets have now sold out online.

♿️ ACCESSIBILITY
Some areas of the walk may be inaccessible due to the rugged nature of the path. The most accessible entry point is from Kempston Mill, where the route should be suitable for the first half of the walk. However, please note that certain sections may become uneven or narrow, which could present challenges for those with mobility concerns.
Stewards will be available on the day to assist and provide guidance to visitors with accessibility needs. If you require specific support, please feel free to approach them for advice. Additionally, due to the narrow and uneven terrain, we recommend avoiding the use of pushchairs where possible.
🅿️ PARKING
Agreed parking for this event is extremely limited. Visitors are encouraged to walk and cycle where possible. If you choose to drive, we ask that you use public car parks in the local area and avoid parking in residential areas where possible.
