So this maze is free to go too, kids & adults will love it...... if you can find it that is!😁
🤔SO WHERE IS IT?
This FREE MAZE is located at the wonderful Roxton Garden Centre in Bedfordshire. When you enter the car park you will not see any signposts for it. As you go in the car park facing the garden centre turn right, then turn left as if you are heading for a dead end, it may seem like you are heading for the delivery entrance but there you will see trees on your right and a sign in front of you 'Roxton Maze'.
The maze is located next to the garden centre in a spacious field with a few benches to sit on. At the moment it is being trimmed back due to some hanging branches, we had to duck and dive a few times but it added to all the fun we had.
♿️ IS THE MAZE SUITABLE FOR PUSHCHAIRS OR WHEELCHAIRS?
I would say it is NOT suitable as there are branches, some on the floor and hanging low, some spaces may not be big enough and also the surface may not be suitable in my personal opinion. But the Garden Centre itself is wheelchair friendly.
🔓WHEN IS THE MAZE OPEN?
The Maze is open the same time when the Garden Centre is open. The details are below.
🌺THE GARDEN CENTRE
The garden centre is wheelchair friendly and dog friendly. You can buy things from plants, to clothes, to toys. When we visited on 03/08/24 we saw reduced clothes,suitcases, plants and other various things. So it's definitely worth a look!
☕️THE CAFE
The cafe has hot and cold food and drink options at reasonable prices. There is a kids menu and an indoor & outdoor space with unmbrellas to sit in the sun and relax amongst the outdoor flower section of the Garden Centre. Dogs are allowed but they are not allowed in the main restaurant area. Just ask staff if you are not sure, they will be happy to help.

1️⃣All of our screenings take place in a relaxed outdoor environment with space to move around, this screening has additional measures in place to make it an SEN-Friendly screening, making it calmer for some guests:
2️⃣Gates will open 1 hour before the start of the film to ensure everybody is comfortable.
You can arrive at any time, latecomers will be admitted whenever they arrive.
3️⃣We will make the box office experience easy and do our very best to keep queues to a minimum.
4️⃣There will be no designated seating. Guests may sit where they are most comfortable.
5️⃣We will not be playing any background music before or after the screening.
6️⃣We will start the film promptly at 11am with no adverts or trailers.
7️⃣There will be no spoken announcements before or after the screening. The sound level of the screening itself will be kept to a lower level. Subtitles will be shown.

🔸️We turn our music right down, and there are plenty of instructors to help.
🔸️We are very fortunate to work closely with Spectrum, a multi-award winning charity who host events and support for children with Autism, additional needs and disabilities alongside their families and carers.
CLIMBING HOIST
We also have a climbing hoist that we can use to help those who find it difficult to climb.
We are able to help two people per session with the hoist.
The hoist is not in operation all of the time, and needs to be set up, so we need to know that you would like to use it. You are very welcome to arrange a time to visit the centre before your session to be shown the walls and hoist.
