All riders need to be 12 months or older to board. Children under 12 years only must wear a life vest, provided. To hire a boat on your own, you need to be over the age of 16.

Riders under the age of 16 must have consent given by a guardian who is with them. Said guardian will need to sign the hire agreement.

4 people per boat, this number includes infants & smaller children.
๐ถ ARE DOGS ALLOWED?
Yes. Please clean up any hair and other dog related 'mess' before you get back to the jetty. Be sure you keep your dog on a lead for the duration of your hire. Wildlife such as swans have priority and should not be distressed by dogs. Life jackets for dogs are not available.
๐ณ DEPOSIT
A ยฃ10 deposit is required in addition on all tariffs. Dont be late back, damage or dirty the boat. Management reserve the right to decline boat hire without reason.

Our Aqua Park is suitable for all ages 6yrs+ and over 1.1m tall. The ultimate outdoor watersports experience for families & groups - climb, leap, bounce & splash your way around both inflatable courses packed with fun obstacles. Explore 2 giant courses during your session (rotating after 30-mins) - twice the fun for the same price! How long will you stay dry?
๐งฆ Grip socks (or soft-sole water shoes) are optional, but recommended for extra comfort and grip. Socks are available to buy on the day. Wetsuits are also optional, but recommended & can hired on the day or pre-booked.
๐โโ๏ธ Participants must be able to swim at least 50 metres while wearing a buoyancy aid and be comfortable falling into open water.
๐จโ๐งโ๐ฆ Children aged 6-9yrs must be accompanied by an adult on the Aqua Park aged 17yrs+ (1 adult : 3 kids ratio).
๐จโ๐ฆChild Supervision Policy:
For the safety and wellbeing of all guests, children aged 16 years and under must remain under the supervision of a responsible adult (aged 17 years or over) at all times while on site.

Please check-in at least 45 minutes before your session. This gives you time to check-in at reception, kit up & attend the group safety briefing (10-mins before). If youโre running late, weโll do our best to get you onto your booked session, but this may require re-scheduling to the next available session or day.

All bookings are non-refundable. However, if you notify us more than 7 working days prior to your scheduled session, weโll be happy to discuss rescheduling your booking or issuing a credit for future use.

๐ Watergate Farm, Hockliffe will be open again during the peak Lambing Season this Easter 2026.
๐คฉ WHAT TO EXPECT
Visitors can hold the lambs and see a modern sheep farm at work. With over 2000 sheep to give birth, it is a great chance to see lambs being born, taking their first few steps and suckling their mothers for the first time.

Disabled parking facilities. We offer disabled parking and most the site is concreted. It is easy to get around the lambing shed and see the attractions.
