The wicked witch has cast a terrible spell on our garden, turning every plant poisonous! Only you can help break the curse and save the day!

Embark on a spooky adventure and solve the magical mystery hidden in the shadows of our Poison Garden. Search for the secret letters on 3D posters, piece them together, and discover the toxic word that will lift the witch's spell!

We invite you to take part in this year’s Halloween Trail across Bedford Town Centre! This year’s trail takes place from

Saturday 26th October to Sunday 3rd November 2024.
Can you find the cauldrons in shop windows across the town centre? Draw or write the symbol you see on each cauldron onto your map!
Adults can fill in their details on the back of the map with the potential for five people to win a £25 Love Bedford Voucher to spend in participating businesses.
Children will receive a ‘trick or treat’ sweetie bag and a sticker for taking part. Plus…. there will be a 20% discount voucher to enjoy a treat with the kids at Creams Cafe on the High Street.

👻 ABOUT THE HALLOWEEN TRAIL
The trail is completely free, simply visit our Watersports Centre Reception between 10am - 4pm to pick up your answer sheet to take part.
Search for our Halloweeen questions around the lakeside, fill in your answer sheet and return to the Watersports Centre for a treat!
The trail is designed for primary school children and follows a short accessible route which starts and ends at the Watersports Centre.

We welcome dogs on our Skylark trail and on the Bridleway transecting the reserve. Our Café is also dog friendly.

- Car parking is £6 for Non-members and free for RSPB Members. The car parking fee (£6 per vehicle for Non-members) entitles you to free access to The Lodge reserve for the whole day.
