🧑🎄 OVO’s smash hit, critically acclaimed production of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol returns to Hertfordshire by popular demand, for a fourth year. This time, in a new area and venue: British Schools Museum in Hitchin.

All proceeds from the Festival and these events are donated to St Paul's Church, Bedford and Bedford Hospital Charity & Friends. Last year we raised over £23,000 and with your help, we hope to raise even more this year.

✨️ WHAT TO EXPECT
For one magical night, our historic town transforms into a festive wonderland, where shops welcome you late into the evening and the streets are lined with stalls brimming with handcrafted gifts and delicious seasonal treats.
Streets will be shut from 6pm to 10pm with festivities starting from 6.30pm. Local shops will stay open late for you to peruse and there will be stalls throughout the town for local traders and community groups as well as funfair rides in Amwell End.
🎶 ENTERTAINMENT
This year, we’re turning up the festive cheer with a spectacular increase in entertainment! Alongside the now-traditional, rhythm-filled procession of the Samba Band, you’ll be captivated by High Street performances from dazzling Majorettes and a harmonious choir. And the magic continues indoors, with a programme of music and dramatic performances set within the beautiful and historic backdrops of St. Mary’s Church, Leaside Church, and the Drill Hall.

Tickets are priced at £15 for adults and £11 for children under 16 when purchased in advance. If you buy on-site, prices increase to £16 for adults and £12 for children.
Families can take advantage of our ice skating bundle ticket for just £49, which includes ice skating for two adults and two children.
