🏃♀️FREE August Activity Days 2024 - BEDFORD

Bedford Borough Council is launching August Activity Days, a free event designed to promote an active and healthy lifestyle for residents of all ages.No booking required just turn up!
⭐️Taking place on : Wednesday 21 and Thursday 22 August
⭐️From 10am - 4pm
⭐️Where? Harpur Square, Bedford.
The event promises something for everyone. The two-day extravaganza will feature a wide range of free activities, including:
💃dance,
🧘♀️fitness, and sports sessions.
From street dance to yoga, body combat to pickleball, there will be something to suit all tastes and abilities.
SEN SESSIONS
The first hour of each day will be dedicated to SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities), offering inclusive activities for all ages, plus there’ll be a rhyme time for young children too. In addition to the physical activities, a Health Village will provide information and advice on health and wellbeing.
Visitors can learn about the Healthwise programme, learn how to access blood pressure checks, and find out more about mental health support.
THURSDAY 22ND AUGUST
🏈Zone A: 10-10:45 *Multi Skills and Rugby Skills* provide by Bedford Blues Foundation and *Sensory Circuits* provided by Bedford Borough Local Offer aimed at SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
🏃♂️Zone B: 10-10:45 *Free running and Parkour* aimed at SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Provided by Spiral Freerun.
🎼Zone A: 11-11:45 *Rhyme time* aimed at 6 year olds and under provide by Bedford Central Library
🏃♀️Zone B: - 11am-4pm - *Free running and Parkour* aimed at all ages and abilities
🥊Zone A - 12-12:45 - *Body Combat* aimed at 16+ and all abilities provide by Better, Bedford Leisure Facilities
🕺Zone A - 1-1:45 - *Street Dance* aimed at all ages and abilities provide by Kinetic Vibes Dance Academy
🏃♀️Zone A - 2-2:15 / 2:15-2:30 / 2:30-2:45 - *3 x 15 mins Circuit Training* aimed at all ages and abilities provide by Anytime Fitness
🏃♀️Zone A 3-3:45 - *Fun Games and Multi Activity Skills* aimed at all ages and abilities provide by Sports Development Unit, Bedford Borough Council All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
