At Hammer Hill you will have the option of taking a ride on two more of our railways - The Springfield Line from platform 2 and The Winterfield Line from platform 3 - tickets for both are sold at Hammer Hill.

The picnic area at Hammer Hill will also be open for you to use, from where you will be able to watch the Garden Line in operation.

Step into the past and experience firsthand activities like lacemaking and pottery or embark on an adventure on our Tractor to Pitstone Windmill.
With the Museum only open to the public nine times a year, our team of approximately 50 dedicated volunteers are on hand to ensure your visit is both educational and enjoyable.

The Olde Watermill Shopping Village is set in and around an historic Watermill.
There has been a Watermill on the site since 1086 as the Watermill is mentioned in the Domesday book and it is one of the oldest overshot Watermills in the country.
Over the last few years, it has been lovingly restored and is now home to over 20 unique and individual shops as well as the Mill House Restaurant, Tea Room & Cafe, an antique centre, Millerโs Shopping Arcade and a soft play area for the children.

Born in 1981, it took only 17 years for comedian, writer, actor, television and radio presenter Jason Manford to make his mark on the live circuit. Working as a glass collector at the Buzz Comedy Club in Manchester's suburban area of Chorlton, Manford stepped in when a scheduled performer failed to turn up. Just six live gigs later he claimed The City Life North West Comedian Of The Year award, launching a career that would cement him as a household name across the United Kingdom.

๐ ABOUT JASON...

Inspired by family-friendly entertainers such as Eric Morecambe, Tommy Cooper and Les Dawson, and citing both Billy Connolly and Peter Kay as catalysts for his love of comedy, Jason Manford secured a nomination for the coveted Perrier Award at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2005 for his debut Urban Legends show. Then described by Chortle as a triumphant performance "unashamedly dedicated to good, uncomplicated fun", he picked up their award for Best Breakthrough Act in 2006.
That same year Jason Manford made the jump from comedy club stages to screen, joining team captain Dave Spikey on Channel 4's 8 Out Of 10 Cats in 2006. Well-received by the show's regulars and audiences alike, Manford was invited to join as a team captain in 2007, holding the position until he amicably parted ways in 2011. During his time as team captain on 8 Out Of 10 Cats, Jason Manford was joined by the likes of actor Danny Dyer, the legendary Joan Rivers, presenters Carol Voderman, Claudia Winkleman and Lauren Laverne, as well as huge names from across the world of comedy.
Manford's TV career included presenting BBC One's First & Last, ITV's What Would Your Kid Do? and hosting at the prestigious Olivier Awards. In 2020, he donned a hedgehog outfit to place second on ITV's The Masked Singer, finishing behind Girls Aloud's Nicola Roberts โ herself performing as a queen bee.
Described as "effortlessly entertaining" by the Evening Standard, Jason Manford has also celebrated West End credits, first performing as Adolfo Pirelli in the 2012 production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber Of Fleet Street at London's Adelphi Theatre. Manford's theatre career has seen him appear in The Producers, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Guys And Dolls, and as Frank Cioffi in Curtains in 2019. He also joined Absolute Radio in 2016, presenting on a Sunday morning.
Jason Manford is back with his brand-new live show, A Manford All Seasons. Jasonโs been busy since his last smash-hit stand up show but fans of his Absolute Radio show will know this nationally acclaimed comedian hasnโt changed a bit. A Manford All Seasons is Jasonโs latest comic offering set to hit the road, and it sure to be โexpert observational comedyโ (The Guardian) mixed with โcomic goldโ (Mail on Sunday).

The Quarry Theatre aims to make all its facilities accessible to all members of the community. Both the main auditorium and studio theatre have step-free/wheelchair access and we have an accessible toilet with baby-changing facilities in the bar. The main auditorium is also installed with an induction loop. The theatre forecourt has provision for two 'Blue Badge' parking spaces but we advise you call to book a space. Four seats on the front row of the stalls are reserved for those not able to use steps. At Hammer Hill you will have the option of taking a ride on two more of our railways - The Springfield Line from platform 2 and The Winterfield Line from platform 3 - tickets for both are sold at Hammer Hill.

The rest of the site is open including the Railway Museum, the Visitor Centre with Gift Shop and Railway Cafe, and the model trains are usually running too. Come and enjoy your local heritage railway!

The Nature Reserve is open all year round, except 10th-11th May and 4th-5th October 2025. A circular walk takes around 45 minutes.

With the exception of guide dogs, we do not allow dogs in the mill. We welcome well behaved dogs in the Nature Reserve and ask that they be kept on leads at all times โ many animals and birds breed or feed on the reserve, at or near ground level at all seasons of the year.

๐The Addison Centre in Kempston has been home to Ceroc Bedford since the mid-'90s. Weekly Thursday classes and monthly Friday freestyles form the backbone of the Ceroc community we know and love.
The venue recently underwent renovations, including a brand-new sprung floor, lighting upgrades to the car park, and a crystal-clear sound system.
โ๏ธWHAT IS CEROC DANCING?
Ceroc is a blend of different dance styles including salsa, jive, ballroom and tango.
๐ถ WHAT TO EXPECT
A pleasing blend of music in the main hall with Marc throughout the night, mixing the genres with plenty of songs you know and love.
Beginners are always welcome to start on any week. You do not need to know anything about partner dancing to start your Ceroc journey. Come on your own, with a partner or bring a group of friends.
๐ฅ DRINKS
The licensed bar will be back in operation on Fridays to serve soft and alcoholic drinks. Please help us support the bar by not bringing refreshments on this occasion.
โ๏ธ There will be free teas and coffee at 10PM.
