Watch our new-born lambs take their very first steps in our undercover Lambing Barn and keep an eye out on our expectant ewes, as were expecting over 250 lambs to be born, so you may even be lucky enough to see a little lamb being born.

Feeling creative? Paint, stick and colour at our arts and crafts barn where each child will decorate and take home their very own keepsake gift.

The parking is on gravel stones so this maybe hard to navigate a wheelchair. Although it does mention on the website that you can park infront of the Farm Shop which is tarmac ideal for wheelchair users. The farm shop, Steak House & Tea room are accessible. On a winter day you may find the zoo area paths are muddy, with some gravel paths and grass, so it maybe hard to push a wheelchair in places. There is a wooden slat ramp to the Tropical house.

The Panacea Society was originally called โThe Community of the Holy Ghostโ, and was made up mostly of women. Its leader was Mabel Barltrop โ the widow of an English clergyman, and mother of four childrenโ whose followers called her โOctaviaโ.

During the 1920s, followers of the Panacea Society moved to Bedford to live near Octavia. Eventually, the community was able to combine the gardens of several properties to form โthe campusโ โ a private space between the community houses, with a chapel at its centre.
From this headquarters, the Society operated a religious organisation which reached across the world. Over two thousand people became members of the Panacea Society, in Europe, North America and many parts of the British Empire and Commonwealth.
From its beginning, the Panacea Society expected the end of the world. Society members were convinced that God would soon act to bring about a new age โ a period of peace and happiness called โthe Millenniumโ.
The Panacea Society was part of a wider religious movement of groups concerned with prophecy. The Panaceans believed that God was speaking to them through Octavia, but her followers did not believe she was the only modern prophet. Rather, they accepted a lineage of seven prophetic voices since the late 1700s โ a tradition they called โthe Visitationโ.

Biggleswade Arts and Theatre Society (BATS) invites you to listen to tales from characters of the past, who lived or worked in Biggleswade throughout history. Grave robbers, brewers, teachers, and more, all have tales to tell about the most haunted locations in the town, which may shock you to the core!

Houghton Hall Park is a great place to go for a walk, riding scooters and a play park onsite.
There is also a cafe onsite with indoor and outdoor seating.

The Cafe is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm and 8am to 5pm on the weekends, these times may vary seasonally.
With plenty to offer on the menu, a dog-friendly cafรฉ makes for the perfect stop after a refreshing walk in the parkโฆand a perfect setting to catch up with some friends over a coffee and slice of homemade cake. Indoor and outdoor seating is available - providing exceptional views of the park while you relax in your surroundings.

The biggest computer games from the 80s and 90s will be making a comeback in Luton town centre, with a free-to-play retro arcade taking centre stage during the February half-term 2025 holidays.
