John Lawsonโs Circus features performers from all around the world, but our story began almost 50 years ago in Kent.
How long does the show last?
Each performance of our standard touring show lasts around an hour and 45 minutes with a 15 minute interval. some venues may vary.
โฟ๏ธ Is the circus wheelchair accessible?
- Yes we are! we can accommodate wheelchairs in the ringside sections of our Big Top with no trouble at all, but we would ask that you arrive 30 minutes before the performance so we can get you settled before the last minute rush!

- You may store your pushchair inside the Big Top but it must be folded and left at the entrance, No pushchair/prams can be taken into the seating areas.

1๏ธโฃ Start the evening at the Village Hall with a talk and tasting from Warden Abbey Vineyard: just 5 miles down the road, this bijou, volunteer-led vineyard makes awarding winning wines. You will learn about its history and taste two wines, including an exclusive tasting of the prestigious โDecanter Magazineโ Bronze-Award winning Sparkling Brut.๐พ
2๏ธโฃ We will then divide into small groups, each visiting three Moggerhanger hosts who will welcome you into their homes to taste two wines from a country or wine region of their choosing: There will be nibbles and maybe games, music or a quiz to add to the fun.
3๏ธโฃ After tasting your way around Moggerhanger, (and possibly the World!) weโll gather again at the Village Hall for a Tombola, grazing boards ( if you so choose!) and to continue to enjoy each otherโs company.

The bar will be open and all 12 wines tasted during the evening will be available to buy by the glass or bottle.
You can catch up with old friends, make new friends, discover new wines, maybe learn a little? and go home happy.

Starting mid-September this will be a regular weekly meet-up (outdoors or indoors - if the right place is found), fostering a safe environment and deeper connections that develop over time.
WHAT IS THIS GROUP INTENDED FOR?
Women for Women is intended as a space where everyone can find their people, their tribe and have that sense of belonging that is more difficult to achieve in the modern world, outside of your closest family circle (if that is the case).
