On the afternoon of the Last Night of the Proms, our popular Family Films in the Park event takes place with movies at 12pm and 2pm. Films to be confirmed soon!

☕️ Throughout the Family Films in the Park event, Parson’s Close Café, our award-winning playground and the Splash and Play will be open.

LAST NIGHT OF THE PROMS: 7PM
The Leighton-Linslade celebration of Last Night of the Proms takes place in Parson’s Close Recreation Ground on Saturday 14th September from 7pm featuring Zoe Curlett and Bedford Town Band.

🎇 Once the bands have finished there will be a live screening of Last Night of the Proms from the Royal Albert Hall followed by a Firework Finale!

🥪Throughout the evening, food and drink is available from Parson’s Close Café and visitors are also encouraged to bring a picnic with friends and family.

🚻 Accessible toilet facilities including a changing places toilet are available.

🛝 Play park onsite.

🎇 Join us in Priory Gardens in Dunstable this this free open air event for the live broadcast of the Last Night of the Proms on a giant screen with special effects, interval entertainment and a stunning firework display to end this magical evening!

WHAT TO EXPECT
📯The evening begins with Dunstable Town Band playing a selection of brass band repertoires
🎤followed by Fiona Harrison who is a versatile vocalist performing before the live stream and during the interval.

Bring your picnic chairs, blankets and your Pimms and join us in celebrating this wonderful classical British event.

There will also be an on-site licensed bar and food concessions available.

Calendar Girls - the Phoenix Players

Based on the true story of eleven older women who posed nude for a calendar to raise money for the Leukaemia Research Fund.

The Phoenix Players present an Amateur production of Tim Firth's award winning play.

🎊 UK Hindu-Sindhi Samaj cordially invites you to celebrate Thadri with us.

This year Hindu-Sindhi Samaj UK Thadri is at Great Brickhill Community Centre. This is the second year of Thadri Celebration. We had over 120 kids and adults participating in the Thadri event. We are expecting more than 120 participants from our members this year. Hall capacity is limited to 100 people, so tickets will be sold on first come first serve. Please do book early to avoid any disappointment.
