Close to Bedfordshire this dynamic event is dedicated to restoring the magnificent Buckingham Canal between Cosgrove and Buckingham. Organized by the Buckingham Canal Society, it not only raises crucial funds for the canal’s revival but also serves as a platform to spread awareness about their impactful work.
⭐Highlights:
Captivating array of historic and trade boats, enticing craft stalls, engaging games, and delightful refreshments. Festival unfolds along the picturesque towpath between the Cosgrove lock and the newly refurbished Iron Trunk Aqueduct.

INFORMATION
Running from June to September annually, these concerts take place on Sunday afternoons, commencing at 3pm. For many years, the Town Council has organised these concerts to spotlight brass and silver bands from various regions alongside jazz and popular bands. There’s something for everyone to enjoy at the historic bandstand nestled within Parson’s Close Recreation Ground.
💦MORE FUN THINGS TO DO WITH THE KIDS IN THE PARK
The bandstand is located next to the Splash and Play Park area, with a sandpit and skate park. Additionally, an independently run café operates throughout the summer months, providing refreshments for visitors. Why not pack a picnic, gather your friends, and immerse yourself in the melodies?
