Axel the wood cutter agrees to his children Hansel and Gretel journeying forth to explore and play in the woods. They have so much fun with the animals and playing games they forget the time and their fatherβs warning never to stray from the path. As the light fades they find themselves alone and hungry and lost in the dark depths of the trees. After some time they find a beautiful cottage, made of sweets and gingerbread, but who do they find inside? Who would live in such a delicious house?
