😍 WHAT TO EXPECT
Under the guidance of the falconer you will be given the opportunity to meet and handle different species of Eagles, come face to face with the very impressive American Bald Eagle, Blue Chillean Eagle, Bateleur Eagle and more. The perfect time to get some photos and ask the falconer any questions you may have.
From here head out into the flying ground where you can experience their breath taking flight as they glide into your gloved hand.
The activity lasts for approximately 90 minutes.
Includes admission into the bird of prey centre and farm all day.

🏏 The Aylesbury Games - Father’s Day, Free Event

The Aylesbury Games
DJ Dan Blaze will host the stage, playing music throughout the day and inviting visitors to take part in sports day style races, which he will commentate on. He will also host fun onstage challenges.
Local multisports providers will run a variety of activities on the grass for visitors to take part in, including football, cricket, dodgeball and Nerf Battles. There will also be opportunities for visitors to take part in Gladiators Duels.
Hosted by event supporter, Radley, numerous local organisations will run demos throughout the day on the hard courts and 3G artificial pitch, inviting visitors to join in. This will include jazzercise, badminton and basketball.
Local clubs and organisations will run information stalls to inform visitors about activities running in their local area.

🏊♂️ Wild Swimming and Sauna option at Waresley Park Estate (Ages 14+)

▪️AGES: All attendees must be over 14 and under 18's must be supervised by an adult.
💦 ABOUT:
Our wild swimming experience is perfect for solo adventurers, couples, and families alike. Whether you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life or simply want to try something new, our experienced and friendly team (including an open water lifeguard) will be on hand to help you make the most of your time in the water.
PLEASE NOTE:
▪️If you’re new to wild swimming and planning to start in the cooler months, we recommend you attend our ‘Introduction to Cold Water Swimming’ Course.
▪️Tow-floats are always required.
▪️Please note dogs are not allowed at the lake. Thank you for your cooperation.

We will still run wild swimming sessions in the rain, however for safety reasons the session might be cancelled during adverse weather conditions like thunderstorms and gale force winds.

We have one portaloo at the lake. The nearest other toilets are at Bean Theory, our on-site coffee shop (approx. 10 minute walk up the hill)
▪️What should I wear for wild swimming?
Everyone is different, so please feel free to wear what feels comfortable for you, be it a swimsuit or wetsuit. Water shoes or socks can be helpful on the lake floor. Please also bring a towel and warm clothes.
🗺 GETTING TO THE LAKE:
On arrival at the estate, please follow the signs to the Bean Theory Car park. Once parked, walk down the gravel track on your left, below the vineyard. After a 5-minute stroll through the estate, your lifeguard will be at the lake to meet you.

🌺 The Walled Garden - Luton Hoo Estate

🌹 WHAT TO EXPECT
Entrance includes a fascinating tour of the walled garden and visitors are encouraged to break their visit with a picnic or a visit to the Woodyard Café. The garden is best enjoyed at a snail’s pace, entrance is for all day! Notice boards and displays are updated throughout the season allowing fascinating insight into the garden’s rich history.
♿️ ACCESSIBILITY
Every effort has been made to make the garden accessible to as many visitors as possible. With that in mind we have recently finished resurfacing the area around the sundial making it far easier for wheeled access. However, due to the age and rich history of the garden there are some areas that are not accessible by wheelchair. Please inform members of the Walled Garden Project at the entrance and every effort will be made to provide an alternative route, provide commentary on the area, or help with pushing if there are volunteers available. Disabled toilets are available within the conservatory.

Dogs on leads with well-behaved owners are most welcome at the Walled Garden.

▪️Leaving The Quay at St Ives at 11am and arriving at Houghton Mill at 12.25pm in time for a mill tour.
▪️You will have 3 hours at the mill. There will be a guided tour of Houghton Mill and time to visit the Tea Room or have a look around the delightful village of Houghton.
▪️The return trip departs Houghton lock at 3.30pm to arrive back in St Ives for 5pm.
